It's still really hot here so my last workout was shorter than usual:
t's been a long tough week so I took it easy at the gym today:
Circuit Training: 15 minutes
Cycling: 30 minutes
Elliptical Trainer: 17 minutes

55 minutes total! Which brings me way under goal for the month.

It's been a long tough week so I took it easy at the gym today:
Circuit Training: 10 minutes
Cycling: 25 minutes
Elliptical Trainer: 20 minutes

I busted my cute booty this morning. Being laid off of work for one week does have some advantages. I have been getting regular exercise and I am feeling fantastic! 45 minutes of pilates and 60 minutes of power walking.

30 min. of Circuit Training, 25 minutes of recumbent bike and 12 minutes on the Elliptical Trainer. 67 minutes total. Whew!

Don't know if I'll make it to the gym tomorrow or not - I have a meeting tomorrow night but I will definitely try. This is the best therapy for my knee.

My mother-in-law passed away this morning. She had a good long life and was surrounded by loved ones. She went peacefully while my daughter held her hand and talked softly to her. She's at rest now.

Oddly enough, I really felt like working off some of the stress at the gym.

I didn't meet my goals at all in July -- weight or exercise -- so it's nice to have a new month to get back on track. I'm getting a bit of a late start because I had a colonoscopy yesterday (ugh!), but now there's nothing standing in the way of meeting my goals except myself.

Another day at the gym... So far so good. Except for the big fat swollen, bruised ankle. I have no idea how that happened. At least it doesn't hurt.

Joining the gym with my boyfriend has been a great boost to my workouts. I have a workout buddy and more motivation. And fewer excuses that fly... We went this morning for an hour. I feel good but sore. I know that's the point.

Wow, August already! Here we go again. It's time to get out your calendars and figure out how many minutes of exercise you plan to do this month. The information on how to figure out your numbers are in a terrific post by Jo elsewhere in the forums, but it's not too difficult (if I can manage to figure it out, anyone can!)

I just joined a gym so I'm planning to get a lot more variety into my workouts. I may even achieve my goal minutes too.
