It's still really hot here so my last workout was shorter than usual: t's been a long tough week so I took it easy at the gym today: Circuit Training: 15 minutes Cycling: 30 minutes Elliptical Trainer: 17 minutes
55 minutes total! Which brings me way under goal for the month.

I busted my cute booty this morning. Being laid off of work for one week does have some advantages. I have been getting regular exercise and I am feeling fantastic! 45 minutes of pilates and 60 minutes of power walking.

I totally agree with that, Kali. It's impossible to be perfect all the time, so being able to pick yourself up and get back on track is essential.

My mother-in-law passed away this morning. She had a good long life and was surrounded by loved ones. She went peacefully while my daughter held her hand and talked softly to her. She's at rest now.
Oddly enough, I really felt like working off some of the stress at the gym.

Wow, August already! Here we go again. It's time to get out your calendars and figure out how many minutes of exercise you plan to do this month. The information on how to figure out your numbers are in a terrific post by Jo elsewhere in the forums, but it's not too difficult (if I can manage to figure it out, anyone can!)
I just joined a gym so I'm planning to get a lot more variety into my workouts. I may even achieve my goal minutes too.
Goal for August: 50/4/800/800
