Yes, the ankle is better - it was a minor thing but I have weak ankles and never push them. I'm so ready for March and new goals! It's going to be a GREAT month!

I didn't quite make my goal this month, because an unpleasant 36 hour flu bug got passed around my office. Although I was lucky and was only sick for about a day, so I shouldn't complain about it too much. My big accomplishment for the month was knocking a minute off of my mile-run time!

Good morning all,

Jo I am still around it has just been a horable month. between work, school, chronic upper back pain, and trying to find modified workouts to fit in with the pain.

Jo here are my numbers for the month 56/7/1568/293. I know I did more then this but have not been recording it on a daily basis so will go with what know for fact. Will try to do better next month.

Kali hopefully your ankle is feeling better.

Final update for Feb 2009! 30/4/480/12

I had my 2nd 5k this morning and I finished in 50 minutes!! I only shaved off a minute from last time but I an proud to say that my shins hurt much less this time, and I've felt much better throughout the day too.

I missed my monthly goal by 12 minutes and if I hadn't convinced myself I was feeling too poorly for the gym on Thurs I would have exceeded my goal. I will have to adjust my numbers for next month because I am finding that my life does not allow me to dedicate 4 days to the gym so maybe increase the time that I am there and go 3 days?

I was wondering if we only count cardio minutes or can we count strength training and weight lifting too?

Did 30 min cardio Sunday am and 15 mins last night before my weight training class. Girls, I am so excited, I can not only touch the floor again, I can put my palms on it and not feel uncomfortable! Clothes are fitting somuch better and I'm loving it all!!!!

I've had a headache all day - in spite of several rounds of aspirin. Ugh. I will give the exercise bike a try in a few minutes and see if I can work it out that way. It could help. And even if it doesn't, I'll be getting some cardio.

It feels really good to be back on track with my exercise.

Did 30 mins on treadmill last night,learned not to take 3 days off after race because I sure did pay for it myself last night. Sore today and will be keeping to theevery other day schedule to avoid getting lazy again.

I alsohad a horrible weekend as far as food choices,all that darn V-day candy in the house. My thoughs were, I don't want my 2 year old eating chocolate before bed soI'll eat it for him. Next time I'll just throw it away because I have no control when it comes to sweets, gotta treat myself like an addict and just stay away.

Forgot to update for last Wednesday...37 Minuets of Belly Dancing...I haven't done much since...Had a crazy week, didn't track anything, so I'm back on the horse now...better late than never.

Hi everyone,

Welcome Bookwurm.
Kali, I feel for you - I hated business trips when I had to do them no matter with who!!!! So glad I don't have to do them anymore.

OK I'm trying to get back on track after my self-pity indulgence. Don't have much time for exercise because of all the overtime I'm doing to compensate for the lay-off at the end of this month.
