Go to www.halfmarathons.net
They list races all over the world. From there you will just have to look at the descriptions. You will notice that some of the descriptions have old dates on them. So then click on the link to the organizers website to find out more information, including if it is still being run, and what the course limit is.
A course limit of 3.5 hours (16 minute mile) should be the minimum for a walker friendly course. To do a 3.5 hour course train for 15 minute miles. A 4 hour course limit (18 minute mile) is much better for a first time half.
Have fun. Let me know if you find one you like. I'm always looking for race posibilities.

I long to accomplish a great and noble task, but it is my chief duty to accomplish humble tasks as though they were great and noble. The world is moved along not only by the mighty shoves of its heroes but also by the aggregate of the tiny pushes of each honest worker.

Don't look at life as "you have to," view it as "you get to." It puts the fun back in things.
Can anyone tell me how to go about finding a UK half marathon that I can walk?
Annie from the UK.
