Do alot of research. Try them out. Make sure that you can run on it. Some of the lower end models and even the medium price range models really aren't made for running.

I have a pro fitness one, like WalkingGrandma I was on a budget and was short on space so that was the biggest factor for me. If you can see if you can try them out before you buy, a lot of sports shops have them on display so you can get a feel for them and see what is best. You will be spending a lot of money on it so do your research. But its a great investment, I love mine, its one of the best things I ever bought

I did quite a bit of research online before I got mine. I picked the one I could afford. I learned that you are supposed to have a dedicated circuit in your house for the treadmill and shouldn't run the TV or other appliances on the same circuit.

And you should unplug it when you are done to prevent burning out the motor and panel. Expensive lesson, but I'm making better plans for the next time I do something like that.

I am looking to buy a treadmill for my house & would like some recommendations.

Space is not an issue, so it doesn't have to fold up. Would prefer one that maybe is capable of having training programs or such.

Thanks!
