I'm in maintenance mode now but I know from my personal experience when you get down to that last ten pounds it can be tough. Unfortunately the nutrition aspect is a big key. I ate, and continue to eat, at the low end of my calorie range most of the time. I also walk everyday. Some days I only get 20 minutes but I aim for 45 minutes most days. I wore a heart rate monitor to see how many calories it said I was burning and it was about half way between what the Spark calculator said and what my treadmill said.

For me the total distance on an average day, to burn the calories I need to burn is about 3 miles but it does all depend on your fitness level and size. In addition, I started to work in some jogging intervals to amp up the burn and that helped a lot.

I don't know if this helped, but good luck to you and congrats on your great progress.

I am doing my best to try to be consistent with working out. I only have about 10 pounds that I would love to lose and some toning up to do. Basically for any of you that don't have a lot of weight to lose how many miles are you doing each time you get on the treadmill or go outside? How many days a week? I do not plan on changing my eating up too much. I have learned that I am not very good about eliminating things out of my diet. I have been learning portion control and moderation though so I do not indulge everyday or anything like that.
So basically just trying to figure out how many miles I should aim for and how many days per week. Thanks everyone!
