I'm in maintenance mode now but I know from my personal experience when you get down to that last ten pounds it can be tough. Unfortunately the nutrition aspect is a big key. I ate, and continue to eat, at the low end of my calorie range most of the time. I also walk everyday. Some days I only get 20 minutes but I aim for 45 minutes most days. I wore a heart rate monitor to see how many calories it said I was burning and it was about half way between what the Spark calculator said and what my treadmill said.
For me the total distance on an average day, to burn the calories I need to burn is about 3 miles but it does all depend on your fitness level and size. In addition, I started to work in some jogging intervals to amp up the burn and that helped a lot.
