This team was established so that college students can have a place to find motivation and aid while on their journeys to staying in shape or losing weight in college and avoiding the freshman 15. The core objective of this team, as is that of SparkPeople, is of helping people create healthy, rewarding lifestyles, and staying active in college that can be a difficult, demanding, and confusing experience.
We want to make sure you have a place to bring any ideas, questions, suggestions, problems, and solutions you have about leading your journey successfully, and get feedback and support from other teammates just like you, including me, your team leader.
In order to keep this forum as helpful and user-friendly as possible for everyone, it's also very important that you check and see if there is already a thread/topic that addresses your question, idea, or issue before you start a new thread. In many cases, you can find the answers you need to simple questions without even posting, by simply scrolling through the thread topics for a few pages. The more thread duplication we have, the harder it is for people to locate all the good ideas that people have proposed--if all or most of the discussion on a given topic is in one place, everyone will get the benefit of all the ideas presented.
In order to keep things as organized as possible, I will be periodically deleting posts that are duplicative or located in the wrong place. If you find your post deleted, please don't take it personally--instead, try to figure out where you could have put it to avoid this problem.
