Not only was it new...I did the holiday workout that I posted on our page as a link...not new moves...but a new combination...I went through it twice...and I was SWEATING!! I did that after I did 20 minutes of low impact Denise Austin aerobics!! I'm getting closer to my goal...250 minutes to go...and I have 4-5 days to get there....I CAN DO IT!! I hope everyone is having a WONDERFUL Thanksgiving! Gobble! Gobble!

YEAH!!! You are learning!!!
My average is around a 76% monthly. I make stupid mistakes and the multiple choice...forget it!!! They are so tricky!
Kaden's performance is going to be priceless...especially if he does it the way you showed up today!
Our dip was just a mix...spinach (Tasetfully Simple) and fat free sour cream...simple but good.

NEW things from yesterday: So my work out totally tanked yesterday, but I did try some NEW little things. *We have a dip night every Sunday and I only had maybe a 1/2 serving...just wasn't hungry for it:) *We had my favorite meal (eggplant parm) for dinner and I only had one serving!:) Usually I eat at least 2. *No beer during football! Usually I have 2 or 3, but I had 2 cranberry/rum drinks instead. Who knows...maybe this trend will continue:)

Yeah...it's going to be nice not to have things hectic...we had planned on going to Jim and Amanda's on Friday, but now...they are going to PA as well..but it's a-o-k...we'll have our very own very small family Thanksgiving. We are going to PA over Christmas from like the 19-27...Scott will be coming from the 24-27. It will be nice to get to spend some extended time with the fam!! My mom is coming to MD on the 16 to see Kaden perform his solo! Then, he and I will be riding into PA with her and back with Scotty.
You guys coming to the Christmas Party??? Hope so!! Have an awesome week of working out!!!

That stinks that the class you were observed in did not do well...figures!! Did you discuss during debriefing...and...???? You totally kill your workouts on the weekends...which is awesome!!
I totally did not get up and do the shred this am...my alarm didn't go off until 6:30 (backup alarm)...unless it went off and I just turned it off and didn't even remember...which is entirely possible!!
I'm hanging out with my B's tonight...a good night of yummy food and yummy drinks...and since it's Friday...lots of them...hehe!! It has just been the longest week ever I think!!
Anyways...no workout for me tonight other than the fact that we are having a talent show and Tina and I are doing a dance routine...hahahaha! We're doing it to "I Like Big Butts" by MC Hammer...hilarious!! We are such dorks but have so much fun!! Love it!! Have an awesome weekend!!

Hey, The observation completely tanked. The class they came to see was the worst. Every other class at least entertained me with the plan, pretended to be interested, and even did rally coach when it came to taking their notes!:) TOO BAD THAT COULDN'T BE SEEN!!! Oh well I bring it up during debriefing, like always, and see what they think...
Very much looking forward to silent reading today!!!
No work out for me the past two days...I have noticed that I rarely work out Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday...not sure what to do about that. I have no energy left by the time the end of the week comes. Oh well at least I pick it back up over the weekend.
ENJOY YOUR FRIDAY!!!!

Well it's a warm-up, 3 minutes of strength training that includes one single muscle workout then one workout with arms and legs together, then 2 minutes of cardio, then 1 minute of abs...then you repeat the 3-2-1 two more times with different exercises...it was hard. MMMMM....fajitas!!

Update on goal accomplishments this week:
9300 minutes...700 to go by December 1!!
Tried a NEW jogging route, did a NEW spark video (jump rope), got a NEW workout dvd (haven't done yet)... Worked out for 300 minutes...180 over goal...yay!! Strength trained 2 days...need to up that I think...but better than nothing...right...I need to try some new strength training...I know the 30 day shred has a strength training element...so that's good!! I don't think I tried any NEW healthy foods this week though. Have a great week!!

I think that is the one thing that I love the most about all Jodi Picoult's books, each chapter is from another character's perspective.
Let's see so far today 30 minutes of "Fat Blasting" Turbo Jam.
We saw STOMP at the Dupont Theater and ate at the Iron Hill Brewery. The food was expensive but the beer was very good!

OMG...you have Turbo Jam!!!! I'm so excited for you!! I asked Santa Claus for it...so...my fingers are crossed!! You know what I was thinking...I'm wondering if the library has any workout videos?? I'm going to check tomorrow!! Yeah...I think I saw some squash soup on the Thanksgiving under 500 calories menu...I think I'm going to post that to our page...looks yummy!! I'm wondering if I can talk Scott into making it and keeping our Thanksgiving meal somewhat healthy!! No workout yet...still thinking about it though!!

Handte!!! You did awesome!! This looks great!!!!
Well let's see...I did start a new DVD, on loan from a friend, Turbo Jam!! I love it:) So my goal is to do that three times a week. I could also ride my exercise bike, from our neighbor, a little more often...
I am also asking "Santa" for weighted gloves to improve my strength training.
We made an excellent squash soup recipe I could share...we had it on a week night so that goes to show how simple it is:)
As far as a new size...I think I would faint if I ended up a smaller size, but I am rooting for you!! I know you are so close to probably another size being gone!!!
WORK IT ALL!!!

Happy Holiday season everyone!! We are fast approaching the Winter season...a time when many people (especially me) forget about staying healthy, being fit or making good choices! Well this year it is time for a NEW beginning, time to make NEW and different choices!!
I know that this winter...one of my own personal goals is to hit 10,000 fitness minutes by December...wow...what a new concept! So this means lots of working out! What are your goals?? TELL US! We will hold each other accountable for these NEW goals...we want to accomplish them...right??
I don't know about you...but I have been struggling to hit my weekly goals that we set out for in the past couple challenges (mainly since school has started)! I am thinking that some of it was unrealistic goal setting and some of it was me being a slacker!! With fresh starts come fresh goals...ones that we will meet!
A NEW winter beginning for us could be to strive to do cardio 3-4 days a week for a minimum of 2 hours total per week! Do something NEW!! This month incorporate at least one NEW cardio exercise into your fitness program! So...this could mean: starting a NEW workout video, buying a NEW piece of cardio equipment (trampoline or something), taking a NEW route on your strolls, making up your own, NEW workout routine...whatever it is...SHARE IT WITH US!!
Along with a NEW cardio exercise...add in a NEW strength training element to your fitness program! So...this could mean: making up your own strength training routine, buying a NEW strength training device (maybe you need to up your weights), doing NEW strength training workouts, etc....whatever it is...SHARE IT WITH US!!
Variety is the spice of life...try NEW, healthy foods this month...you may even begin NEW traditions for healthier, holiday meals! Tell us what you've tried and how you liked it whether it be a new recipe, a NEW fruit or vegetable you have never tried before...whatever!
It's time for a fresh start, a NEW happier and healthier you...and a NEW size!! Lets do it!
Baby, it's cold outside--sometimes too cold! Learn which weather conditions every outdoor exerciser should avoid, and the signs that it's time to bring your routine indoors.
