Pam, your attitude to that little binge is great! You are so right. Just pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and start all over again. Congrats on the 1.2lbs! Fantastic journey you are having.

REMOVED 1.2 LBS at my TOPS weigh in yesterday!!! 13 CONSECUTIVE WEEKS OF REMOVING WEIGHT!!! I have 16 lbs left to remove! I started at 195.8 and have removed 20.8 lbs since March 1st on this repeat journey to my KOPS goal weight. It is good to celebrate the weight I have removed so far!

HELP SPARK FRIENDS! I "fell off the wagon" and BINGE ATE last night...13 weeks I had eaten according to my planners-NO BINGES- and now today is DAY 1. Truthfully I suspect if I was not a Spark member, I would be Binge eating today. Some of what my Spark Friends have taught me: 1) not to be "afraid or embarrassed" to tell you all the truth about my binge behavior; 2) to STOP the binge as quickly as possible; 3) to NOT Beat Myself up over this "slip" (hard for me!) 4) NOT to 'AWFUL-LIZE my slip and make it a bigger "issue"; 5) "Hey, I am okay!" I reviewed and celebrated my total success-this is just ONE incident in ONE day. 6) I am moving FORWARD! Mentally, Physically and Emotionally!

THANK YOU SPARKERS!!!!!!!

Morning team. We dodged another severe storm yesterday. It passed just south of us. The mountain did it's job again. This storm had hail and torrential rains with it.

I got the camper done and a double batch of brownies baked last night. Took a few last minute things out this morning. DH will take me to work then pick me up with the camper in tow this evening. That will save 15 to 20 minutes.

Talked to my sister. She should be at the hospital right now getting prepped for her ankle surgery. She said that if they can get to the cyst laporoscopically (s?) it will be better but if not, they will have to slice the inside ball of her ankle to get at it then put it back together with screws. She is to call me this afternoon or tonight and let me know how it went. She should not have to stay in the hospital, it's only out-patient. Either way they do the surgery it will be 6 weeks before she can put weight on it.

Better get busy. TTFN and TGIF

This is one of those days where I am running from one thing to another. Pilates class first, then chiropractor's apt., luncheon lecture, etc.

Morning team. Cooler here this morning, only 59. It will warm up later after the fog burns off. Headed to 79 and low humidity.

Got my groceries yesterday and some things at Staples as I had $32 in rebates to use by the end of this month. Also went to Walmart for some prizes for TOPS for the first 3 months of the summer walking program. Not everyone participated but the top 5 walkers will get a water bottle, the rest will get a ribbon for whatever they walked. BTW, I am in the top 5. We will continue with it through September.

I have to be at work early today for a webinar. TTFN

Morning team. Had storms roll through last night. Not too severe where I'm at but parts of PA had some damage. Thankfully our house is protected by a mountain so unless the storm goes straight down the valley, we don't (knock on wood) have much damage. A few small limbs are down but nothing major.

I lost 0.4 at TOPS last night. Glad to see that after 2 weeks of gaining. Lets see how far I can take it.

Today I work till 1pm then it's off to the grocery store to get things for the weekend. DH is going down to work on the antique car. Sure wish they would get it done.

Had a strange thing happen to the car last night. I got home and pulled the car into the garage. Opened the back door to get something out and it didn't shut all the way so I opened it back off and the alarm went off. Could not get it to shut off. I tried starting the car, pushing the panic button on the remote, nothing worked. I went up and got DH and by the time he got down there it quit. Weird. Dumb computers.

Talk about fluctuation in weight. I maintained friday-saturday. Sunday I lost almost 1lb. & Monday I was up 1.5lbs. Today only down .2. Talk about frustrating. I know I didnt eat over 3,500 calories on the salad buffet Sunday.

Morning team. Got stuff put back away in the camper last night while DH went up the road and finished a job he was doing for a neighbor. Not much else got done.

FB chatted with my sister. Her daughter that just went into the Army has been medically released because of panic attacks. She can re-enlist after she is cleared from doctor's but that may take a while. She should be home in a couple of weeks. Don't know what she is going to do. If she wants a future in the Army, she has to learn to not be afraid of guns. She was never around them as my sister would never allow them in the house or any of her kids to use them. I told her that it's like anything else, you have to learn to respect them and not think you are invincible cause once you do, that's when you get hurt. Time will tell. At least she will be home now to help her mom as she is having her ankle surgery this Friday.

It is quite cloudy here today as we may have a t-storm later. Some areas in PA got a storm yesterday, we did not. It rained just a little and I saw lightening once but no storm.

TOPS tonight. TTFN

Mmmm, blackberries. It's funny, I never liked the taste of them till a year or so ago. Now I eat them a lot.

Hi Everyone! Today my hubs asked me if I wanted to go swimming and I said yes! One of our youth came too and we had fun. I did all my exercises in the water. It is sooooo much better for my pain and bad leg. Then came home and picked more wild blackberries in the HOT SUN! Well, I picked an huge bag and had to finally quit bec I was really getting overheated. Then I took a really cool shower! aahhhh

Did I remember to tell you all that they moved my major surgery date up? I am having it July 29th. I will really miss everyone on Spark!

Morning all! Hope everyone had a good 4th and weekend. My weekend was busy. Good busy. The garden club's float for the parade won a trophy for the most patriotic and on Saturday we dedicated a new stone bend to the local park. The weather was beautiful and cooler with lower humidity. Perfect.

Hey team. What a weekend!! I trust everyone had a Happy 4th of July.

We got set up with the camper Thursday evening then had supper. Went into our DIL's parents house to visit a while then off to bed.

Friday was July 4th and we went to a parade. Didn't wear the right clothes as it was only in the low 60s most of the time with clouds and a breeze. Good thing our DIL's mom had a blanket in the car. She and I put that over our legs. The parade lasted about an our and DGD got a lot of candy. After the parade we all went to Texas Roadhouse to eat. Yum. Watched some fireworks later on both live and on TV.

Saturday I rode with DIL's mom into Ollie's and got a few things. Then we got back home and got things ready for a picnic. We ate and after putting things away we went into the pool. The pool water was actually warmer than the air temp. I was in the water for 2 1/2 hours. Got stung 3 times by sweat bees, DIL got stung about 5. They are red and itchy today. I'll have to put some cortisone cream on them.

Yesterday was kind of a kick-back day. DH helped DIL's dad with some things and we left their place a little after 3. Got things put away at home then a shower and laundry done. Now it's back to work today. It will seem like a long week since last week was so short.

Then we get to do it all again this weekend as we're going camping again.

TTFN

PAMTOPS- emoticon on your 12th week of weight loss. You are doing amazing. Keep it up.

Earnie- I am glad you will be able to get back to some calmer days and focus more on tracking your food and exercise better. It might be just the thing to get those last few pounds that have been so stubborn for you. You got this! emoticon

MNGIRL73- emoticon Sounds like you had a yummy bbq. I am glad you enjoyed the 4th of July weekend. Great job on finding & making food that would keep you on plan, while still celebrating in style. Kudos to you.

I have been sticking to my eating & exercise plans. Today I even got in an extra walk outside which despite the light rain and cold was very nice and relaxing. My fiance has lost 7lbs since his appointment last week. Each pound lost will make the surgery easier and safer, so he is really focused on getting healthier. I plan to cook something nice for dinner tonight and maybe make him a berry smoothie for later. Thanks again for all the support and prayers. I hope you all have a great day and a wonderful week.

Hello Everyone, I am back on here. Been busy and tough week.

Just thinking about your posts and about myself and my relationship with food. I now view my daily eating as "planned food event". It is so working for me. It reassures me that I know what I am going to eat and that I am going to enjoy it. I also went and ate candy Thursday night...I did not binge...and some NutraSweet ice cream...I was actually kind to myself. And on Friday I was fine and enjoyed my planned food events. This new attitude of mine was helped to develop thru reading my Spark friends post, thoughts, experiences and ideas.

At my TOPS weigh in Thursday I removed 1.4 lbs!!! my 12th CONSECUTIVE WEEK OF REMOVING WEIGHT!!!

Amber- that is great inspiration to keep you motivated! We know you can do it!

We went to my mom's for a bbq yesterday. I brought ground turkey so she could grill turkey burgers from a spark recipe I found. They were good. I also made a southwestern black bean salad & jello cottage cheese with pineapple spark recipe.

We went to the races & watched fireworks afterwards. I had 2 cheese curds & water there. I weighed in this morning & maintained.

Thanks for all the well wishes everyone. We will do the best we can to get his body as healthy for the surgery as possible. Whatever they find after the operation we will deal with then. I will keep you all posted when we get a date locked in. I know I will be a bundle of nerves until he is back home recovering. Meanwhile I plan to log into Spark and stay on track because he will need me, and I will need my health. Falling off the wagon is not an option. So I will not stress eat, binge eat or fill up on junk food. I need to be strong and as healthy as I can so we can focus on getting him better.

I want to wish you all a wonderful 4th of July weekend. Stay healthy and stay on track, because you are worth it.

Earnie- Good luck with the car shopping.

Donna- I hope your leg gets better soon. Sorry you were in such pain. Make sure you let your doctor know it was one of the worst ones you have had. Sometimes they may need to adjust your treatment.

Pam- Swimming is so nice. I am glad you got to enjoy it. It really is easier on the joints and still a great workout for our bodies. Keep it up.

MNGirl- Congrats on losing 40lbs in six months. That is so great. You should feel really proud of all the hard work you put in to reaching that goal. Keep up your lifestyle habits, they seem to work well for your body.

Well my fiance's post op consult went bad yesterday. The cancer did spread to the lymph nodes. They are scheduling him for a bigger operation later this month to remove all the nodes in the area in the hopes of slowing it down. It is a major operation with some big risks. The hospital assigned us a cancer counselor to help us through all this. It is all a bit much. I will try to post & blog here and there, but again our days are going to be packed with appointments, consults, lab work, etc... to prep him for surgery. I appreciate any and all prayers and well wishes for him to have a smooth surgery. He will be in the hospital most of a week after the surgery and then have a drainage tube for about 6 weeks when he gets home. We don't have a date yet, but it will be later this month they said.

Thanks for all the support. I want to wish you all a great week and I hope you all have a wonderful July 4th.

Donna, I hope your leg eases and the cramps are gone.

I'm going to look at cars today (along with some other shopping). I need to get a new car in late August and want to start looking now to decided what I want.

Morning team. Feeling drained today. I woke up with a slight cramp last night about 1:45am. Got up to walk it out and go to the bathroom. While there it grabbed my calf and straightened my leg while pointing my foot. Couldn't move anything. Eased up slightly then grabbed me even harder. That's when DH heard me as I was crying in pain. Took me three times of trying to tell him what was wrong for him to understand. He started gently rubbing my leg and I took 2 leg cramp pills. Needless to say my leg is very sore this morning. Took 2 Aleve in hopes it eases some of the ache. That was the worst cramp I have ever had.

Gained ..6 at TOPS last night. In the last 2 weeks I've put on the pound it took me 3 weeks to lose. Grrr!!

After work today I need to got to Walmart and the grocery store. Then I'll come home and get the camper ready this evening.

TTFN

Pam-Did you wear your Spark Tracker with you swimming? How did it work for you? I have one but have not worn it in the water yet. Hoping to get some swimming in this weekend and just wondering.

I'll try to post a picture of the 1925 Model T later. I'm off to pilates, let a neighbor's cat out of her house (she's out of town for the day), and later to make my volunteer rounds in the hospital.

Earnie and Kopsbaby thank you for your kind words!

Oh, Earnie, I love classic cars! That must have been so much fun to get to ride in a 1925 car! I love to look at the craftsmanship of the old cars. So cool! I am so glad it stopped raining so you could all have a lovely time!

I got to swim quite a bit today! HOORAY FOR EXERCISE! I can move so much easier in the water with my bad leg. I can't say that it doesn't hurt but it is so much better. I am so thankful for that!

Pam and MNGirl, congratulations! You two are amazing and encouraging to everyone else.

Our party was a total success. It rained (poured) up until 3:45 p.m. on Saturday and then the sky cleared and the sun came out. We hurriedly put out all the decorations and the food and then evening was wonderful and fun! I'm exhausted. lol

On to the next project. My garden club is decorating a float for the 4th parade and after working on the float, I got to go for a ride in a 1925 Model T Ford!

I have lost 40lbs. in 6 months. I started losing it on my own since I had been on the Nutrisystem before. I knew what to do with what they taught me. I then found the Venus Factor on FB in April. I mostly used that for my strength training & got some useful tips from the ladies there. I joined here just a month ago & found the cardio workouts very useful. Something to step up my workouts.

I am now setting a new goal. I have 2 weeks worth of strength training workouts to do. I will finish those & if I lose more weight so be it. I would like my tummy to get smaller yet so hopefully that will help. Then after that, I will maintain & maybe if necessary gain a little weight back. I will have to see what happens.

Morning team. It was a glorious camping weekend. No rain, a slight breeze most of the time, and good friends. Course there's always too much food but there's no calories when you're with friends, right? LOL

Looks like it is trying to rain today, cloudy and humid. Tomorrow we might have t-storms.

Back to work today. I work today, tomorrow, a 1/2 day on Wednesday, and all day Thursday then off to more camping. Going to spend the weekend with DSS, DIL, DGD, and DIL's parents whom we are good friends with. They are letting us camp at their place and will provide us with electric. They also have a pool so hoping to get some swimming in this weekend. Haven't had the opportunity yet this year. We'll also go to a parade on Friday, July 4th.

TTFN

Pam-Great going. Another week, another loss. You're doing so well.

We used to live by a lilly farm so we drove by it often....and the beautiful lilies, all the varieties!

Earnie, it is such a lovely thing for you all to throw a party for everyone! It does sound like allot of work though!

Amberbreeze- you get your relaxation in girl! Everyone needs that.

Wow, I can't remember the name of the person is only 1 lb from goal! THAT IS EXCITING!!

I just got back this evening, spent almost a week with my friend. It was great but it is so awesome to be back home with my hubs!!! Tonight I will sleep in my own bed!!

Donna- I love key lime pies in the summer, it is great you found one that is lighter but still delicious. Enjoy you camping trip.

Earnie- I hope the weather is good for your neighborhood party this weekend. I hope you have a good time.

Heather- It is great to see you here. Great job on losing the 3 lbs last week. We are cheering you on for that last pound. You can do it!

Pam- Enjoy your new do. Short hair in summer can feel so freeing. It can be easier to style and it is so nice to feel a breeze on your neck in those hot summer evenings.

I am planning on taking it easy this weekend. Just chill and let myself recharge for the week ahead. The weather was stormy the past few days, but tomorrow should be clearer. I hope everyone has a great weekend. Have fun, stay on track. We are all worth it!

Hi team. The morning at home got away from me as I was getting things ready to put in the camper. Made a lighter key lime pie, a SP recipe and boy is it ever good. Very simple and delicious.

It's been kind of steady here at work. We've had our slow times but so far it hasn't been too bad.

Had a gully-washer of rain again last night. Not as intense as Wednesday afternoon but still a lot of rain.

As soon as I get home this evening we'll leave with the camper. Around 9 or so I'll drive the truck back home so I don't have to get up so early to be at work tomorrow as we are camping about 30 miles away.

Better get some more posting done. TTFN and TGIF!!

MNGIRL-Congrats on your loss and almost to goal. You will reach it soon.

I am swamped by preparations for the neighborhood party tomorrow and still praying the rain holds off. I picked up enough meat (pork loin and pork ribs) to feed an army and now I have to cook it tomorrow morning. Making a pasta salad tonight and trying to get as much of the last minute items prepped as possible.

Happy Friday! emoticon

I am happy to say my extra hard work this week has paid off. I lost almost 3 lbs. in the last week & am only 1 lb. to goal.

Hopefully the rain is done for awhile now so I can go for a walk. I see the sun is trying to peek out.

Hope everyone has a Great weekend!

Morning team. Most errands done yesterday. Got the haircut and mammogram done, that was most important. Went to Walmart, twice. Once before my appointment, then just as I had walked into Staples, DH calls and needs some things so had to go back. Never got back to Staples as I needed to go to the grocery store and that seemed like it took forever. Had trouble finding a couple of items and walked up and down the aisles looking. Geez, you'd think they'd have some sort of directory.

Heavy rains came while I was in Walmart the first time. They measured 3/4 of an inch in 15 minutes and almost 2 inches in 30. There was some flooding downtown in the town I was in and a landslide in a neighboring town. Thankfully none where I live once I got home.

Back to work today and the sun is shining. Go figure. TTFN

Two of my neighbors and I are having a party for our entire community on our joined back yards this coming Saturday from 5:30 to 8 and the prediction is for 40% rain all this week, weekend and into next week. The rain has been spotty with just showers morning, evening or night, but not all day. I am praying for a non-rain Saturday afternoon/evening and may have to get out and do a non-rain dance.

Morning team. Off from work today. Have a hair cut and mammogram scheduled for this afternoon so doing things around home till about 1pm then I'll head to the hair appt. I got my grocery list done, dishes from the dishwasher put away and breakfast eaten. Need to get out into the camper, get the deposit ready from TOPS meeting so I can drop that off, and various other odds and ends before I have to leave.

I gained what I lost last week at TOPS last night, ...4 ending my 3 week losing streak. I knew I had. Will work on a loss for next week and start another streak.

Another member reached their KOPS status last night. She had been there before but lost it and she's now reinstated. That makes 3 of us. At one time we had 12. Maybe some day we will again.

Better get busy. TTFN

Morning team. Came home from work last night and had all intentions of going for a walk. It was a beautiful evening. Sat down to supper at 5:30 and it suddenly hit me that I had to be at a meeting at 6. Drat! Good thing it wasn't too far. I made it with just a couple minutes to spare. DH did the dishes for me.

I did get my car back over the weekend. It didn't cost as much as I expected but still enough. The handle was $55 and labor $30, with tax it came to $90 for a piece of plastic.

It's cloudy today and the weatherman is promising rain today and tomorrow. Not all day, just showers. Still, why can't it ever be a nice day when I have off tomorrow?

TOPS tonight. Scale looks a little more than last week. We'll see.

Gotta go. TTFN

Amber-We go camping every chance we get. Have many more scheduled between now and end of October.

Pam-I've had my hair short for years and love it. In fact if it starts to get too long, like now, I get antsy to get it cut. That's in store for tomorrow.

Hi Everyboddee! I trust your week is going great. Larry took me to the lake today and yesterday and I nursed my poor leg along with water exercise. Our lakes are at about 81 degrees now-finally! Larry and I always camped when our kids were growing up but we do not now. I think mostly because we are blessed to live in a log home with 110 acres of woods! and live right in the middle of two huge lakes! (well, not in the middle of the lakes- lol!)

Earnie- Good luck on the water. I have never tried it, but I have heard that cucumber slices in water is refreshing and gentler on the tooth enamel then lemon or lime wedges.

Donna- I am glad you are getting some camping in this summer. I hope you get to enjoy more before autumn gets too wet and cold.

Pam- Congrats on ten weeks of weight loss. You can do it! Way to go!

This week I will be running errands, but not nearly as busy as the previous 2 months were. I hope everyone has a great week.

Morning team. My 4 day camping weekend has come to an end and it's back to work today. I work 2 days then I'm off Wednesday as I have to work this Saturday. Have a haircut and mammogram Wednesday.

To recap the camping, last Thursday we got going at 11 am and drove thru rain part of the way. Arrived there around 2pm and got set up. Went out to eat at a nice restaurant then back to the camper.

Friday after breakfast, 4 of us took off on a walk and ended up hiking through the woods. Kind of got lost and wound up walking about 2 hours 20 minutes. The trail was not very well marked and we had to go around and over logs and wet ground, some of it quite soupy. Finally made it back after flagging down 2 vehicles to ask directions. Took a short bike ride that evening too.

Saturday was another hike, this one on road mostly to a fire tower. It was only 1.5 miles there but still took us most of 2 hours to go there and back. Real nice overlook though with trees growing out of rocks if you can believe that. Strange.

Sunday our co-camper got the phone call about his brother having emergency gall bladder surgery so after brunch we started to gather things around to start home. We left around noon and got home about 2:40. We now have all clothes washed and folded ready to go back in the camper for this weekend. Camping again only not near as far, about 30 miles away.

Better get busy. TTFN

Hey team. I am back from camping. I will catch up with everyone better tomorrow. Had a great time but had to leave earlier than expected today as a co-camper's brother had emergency gall bladder surgery this morning and he has hay in the field so the brother is helping to get it done.

Hello Everybddee! I had my TOPS weigh in this morning. I LOST 1.8 lbs!!! 10 CONSECUTIVE weeks with a LOSS! WHOO HOO! Praise you, Father! Thank you TOPS and all my SPARK FRIENDS! at one point in this week I was up 1.5 lbs, due to fluid retention in my bad leg. OOLALA made an encouraging comment to me "to give it a couple weeks before you make any changes". Just that comment had a profound effect on me. So, I kept to my fitness and eating plans and I LOST! I LOVE THE PEOPLE ON SPARK PEOPLE!

Earnie, I am glad you are treating yourself kindly ; we all need to do that.

All of you are so kind for giving so much encouragement. I pray that you all lose weight! and are nice to yourself! AMBERBREEZE, Larry and I have been married 33 years and there have been "times" in our marriage when you just almost wish you could erase that whole calendar year! Then, you just have to give it ALL to GOD. He loves us so and wants us to live in peace. May your life right now be blessed and be calmer. pam

Earnie- Enjoy your massage.

Pam- Good luck on your weigh in emoticon

Donna- emoticon on your weight loss streak.

Fiance had his two operations on Tues. He is back home resting and recovering. It will be 2 weeks until the results come back. The good news is that things should now be more calm with less things going on here. We just a perfect storm of things happening that meant it was very busy and chaotic for the past few months. Sometimes life happens like that and you just gotta take a deep breath and trudge through it. Anyways, I am having an early night. I hope everyone has a wonderful day.

Morning team. I work until 1pm today then I'm off until Monday. Leave for camping at 10:30 tomorrow morning so I probably will get to log in tomorrow morning but not much else. After work today I have to go make the deposit for TOPS, then to the grocery store for some last minute things, then home to make my deserts and finish putting stuff in the camper.

I lost ....4 last night at TOPS making it 3 weeks in a row I've lost and 1 pound in those 3 weeks. Yay! This weekend will be a challenge but I'll be able to do more activities so hoping I can keep the streak going.

Our mechanic called and he got the door handle so will drop the car off either tonight or tomorrow morning before we leave.

Had t-storms roll through last night and woke me up twice. Needless to say I am sleepy today. Better get moving though. TTFN

Hey team. Didn't have time to post this morning as I had to be at work for a staff meeting. Now trying to catch up.

Something weird happened to me last night. I pulled the car into the garage and tried to open the door and my hand slipped off, but I heard the doors unlock. I tried to open the door again and it wouldn't open. I tried locking it, unlocking it, I tried to open it with the car running, nothing. DH was working at a house up the road so I drove there and got the idea that maybe I could open it from the outside, I could. So I went back home, pulled in the garage, left the engine running while I reached out the window and opened the door, then rolled up the window and turned off the car. When DH came home I told him and I called our local mechanic to see if he could look at it. He said yes so I took it down. He pulled the door panel off and the handle/lock mechanism was broken. What a piece of plastic crap. I mean, parts like that shouldn't be breaking. I can't even lock the car. All the other doors lock but not the driver's door. Now he doesn't know if he can get the part before we go camping. If he does, then we'll just take the car and drop it off and he can have it for four days. If not then it will have to wait till we get back.

TOPS is tonight. My scale looked good but who knows about theirs. We'll see.

TTFN

The beginning of another busy week. I'm taking my car this morning to be detailed and a neighbor is picking me up. We will pick up my clean car at noon and leave her car to be cleaned. We will go back at 4 this afternoon and pick up her car. But that means I won't be able to get to my pilates class today. Can't do everything. I will stay home and work on the home projects before my niece comes to visit tomorrow.

Morning team. Didn't find any real bargains at the yard sales Saturday, just a couple things for the grands. Yesterday after church we went to eat at Cracker Barrel. We both had the catfish, his was fried, mine grilled. We then went to Walmart and the grocery store, now I don't have to go to that store come Wednesday afternoon like usual. A local store is having a 3 day customer appreciation sale and there are some bargains there I want to get.

I only have 2 1/2 days of work this week then we'll be camping Thursday through Sunday.
Going to a state park with our camping group. I think there are 6 or 7 rigs going. Should be fun.

Tonight I will get some more things in the camper and hopefully take a walk if it isn't raining. Got a 2 1/2 mile walk in yesterday. It was a gorgeous day.

Hope all you fathers had a great father's day. The only father I ever knew was my grandfather who adopted us. He passed in 1981.

Morning team. For a Friday, yesterday was very slow until it picked up a little in the afternoon. Still not what Friday's usually are at a bank.

I have to work till noon then I'm going to hit some yard sales locally. There are community yard sales in the next town east of us and the farmer's market till 1pm.

Clouds have all parted and it's sunny today. Supposed to be that way tomorrow too. Today is our DIL's birthday. I can always remember it cause it falls on Flag Day. Didn't remember to send her a card but I remember when her BD is. Oh well.

DH will be home sometime late this afternoon. Yippee! I won't have to sleep alone tonight. No weird thoughts last night but the alarm clock rang way too soon. Feeling tired today. Tomorrow I can sleep in.

TTFN

Thanks for the advice ladies. There is a small night light on in the bathroom, which is just off from the bedroom. I think I was just missing my hubby that night. Don't know what I'll do if something happens to him and I'm alone all the time. It won't be pretty.

Donna, ever since my accident, even with my husband home, I leave one light on in the great room-it is never turned off. Also, I have two night lights in our master bedroom. I am not afraid exactly, I just do not want any extra reasons for falling. I find the light a comfort also. My husband rolls with the flow-lol

Donna, I'm sorry that you feel insecure at night with your husband away. It surely is different when the house is empty, Perhaps you can leave a small light on or use one of those southing sound machines.

Morning team. It is still raining here but supposed to clear out this afternoon. We had another 9/10 of an inch yesterday and overnight on top of the 1/2 inch Wednesday. Enough already. It's been dreary all week.

My burn looks so much better today. Still a little tender but healing nicely. Just hope I don't bump it and break it open again.

After talking with DH last night, I started having thoughts of someone breaking into the house. Does anyone else do this when they are alone at night? Anyways, I prayed for God to calm my mind and he did and I went to sleep. Sure hate it when my mind thinks things like that. Prayer is a powerful thing.

Long day at work today and working tomorrow. Next week I'm only working 2 1/2 days. WooHoo!

TTFN and TGIF!

Morning team

Had storms roll through last night. We only got 1/2 inch but others got up to 2 inches and a tornado was reported about 100 miles WSW of me. Lots of trees down in that area. Flooding too. More rain predicted today so the hose for the sump pump in the basement went out this morning. Just in case.

I put Neosporin on my burn and wrapped it overnight. Took it off this morning and it looks better but still tender and somewhat swollen so I think I'll re-wrap it before I go to work and keep it on all day. Don't want any of that dirty money getting into it.

Gotta run. TTFN

Hey Nickey, the important thing is that you got the walks in and have a plan. Some days are easier than others. I ate out yesterday and can tell that I got too much sodium. I'll work on the water today. emoticon

Hey team,

Had a pretty good day today on the exercise front. Wen for 3 walks and did my bootcamp video. My eating on the other hand kind of derailed in the evening. Trying not to dwell on it too much because at least I exercised. Tomorrow my goal is to stay in my calorie range and to track my food BEFORE I eat it.

Back at this! Doing it for my health and my family!

Hi gang. Been running around some today. Had to go get Altar candles for church this morning. The only place I've found them is at a Christian bookstore over the mountain, about 30 minutes away. Also went to the grocery store and got lots of fruits and veggies.

Back home I got things in the camper for DH. He left about 3:30. Now I'll be alone till at least Saturday evening. Unless he's parked in, he said he's coming home.

Lost .4 at TOPS last night. Had a good meeting but it lasted a little longer than usual. Then went out to eat with a couple of the girls. Didn't get home till just before 9pm. Good thing I was off work today.

I brushed my arm and peeled my burn last night so it's tender again. I think I'm going to have to put some Neosporin on it and bandage it so it doesn't get infected. So tender to the touch and I'm afraid of bumping it again. Ouch!

TTFN

Pam-Can't say I ever ate mulberries. I'll have to look for them at a farmer's market if I get to one.

Hello Everyboddee! wow-some of you have BUSSYYYY schedules! Be sure and listen to your body and get the rest you truly need.

I love gardening and yard work! I am for sure going to check out SHADOW'S yard pix. I have a gazebo too! We had the Amish build our log home and Larry had them build a gazebo for me too. It is right by our Civil War era handmade stone silo. So pretty.

I am not good at getting pix on the computer but I will try and figure it out so you can see how beautiful a setting it is. I have been taking rocks and making "circles" with them to go around the big trees and bushes. I have to only do a little at a time but it is starting to look great.

There is a break today in the rain of the last several days so I am going to go climb the Huge Hill!

Morning team. Did some work in the camper last evening getting it ready for DH to take it tomorrow afternoon. Hoping I can get my errands done and back home before he has to leave. I have tomorrow off but have to go and get candles for church and groceries. I should be able to make it back. Have to get some things into the camper for DH to eat too.

Another cloudy and rainy day today. I'll take this during the week though as long as the weekends are nice. If the weatherman predicts correctly, this weekend will be the 3rd nice one in a row. Sure hope it can stretch to 4 for next weekend as I am taking next Thursday and Friday off to go camping. Lots to do between now and then.

My burn is better, just a little ouchy yet but not bad. I'm surprised it didn't blister. Maybe putting ice on it helped.

TOPS tonight.

TTFN

Earnie-Me pampering myself would be ok except for one thing, I have to go to work every day including Saturday so won't be home except in the evenings and Saturday afternoon.

Donna- I hope your wrist recovers quickly. Sorry you aren't able to join your husband for the weekend. I hope your week passes quickly so you can enjoy time with him later.

Earnie- I hope the day goes better for you. Sometimes when you have it all planned out, something or someone throws those plans askew and then you lose track. Hopefully your meeting can be rescheduled.

Shadow- Wow, your backyard is beautiful. What a great job. I bet your will really get some enjoyment out it, so will the cats.

Pam- Glad you had a nice, relaxing Sunday.

I hope everyone has a wonderful day. emoticon

hi gang...was very busy this weekend, but finally finished all the outside projects. i posted pics in my photo area if you want to see. put the gazebo up in the back yard, all that needs to be done is to pick up some cinderblocks to anchor it down. front and side yards are all done for this year...so my outside is finally done. i may pick up some bushes to plant on the other side of my yard so the cats have somewhere to hide out in...but, overall everything i wanted to finish is done. got tons of exercise in doing it.
now...i need to concentrate on the inside and clean this house. it was neglected with all the outside stuff...so will have a busy day today.
off to start my day...have a great monday.

Morning team. Had a whirlwind weekend and it always goes by too fast. Saturday I went for a 4 mile walk, then went to Walmart, a tractor show, and meeting. Sunday was church in which I read, plus helped with communion. Went to hymn selection in the afternoon where we select the hymns for the next 6 months. Took us 3 1/2 hours. What a grueling time.

DH finally made it home around 7. Now he is going to take the camper on Wednesday evening to a tractor show through Saturday. I can't go as I have to work and it is too far away to travel. I work Saturday too so can't even join him then. Drat!!

Fixed myself some supper in the oven last night and burnt the top of my wrist. I put ice on it for a while and it doesn't hurt as much this morning except it I bump it. Looks worse than it is.

Better run. TTFN

A totally disrupted day. I was up and dressed for Church, but the tree trimmer called and wanted to come by to give me an estimate. I had called and left a message on his line that I need him to come by. Time got away and I didn't get to Church. After that, I was trying to get back to my long list of things I need to do and I missed a 2 p.m. meeting. I hope I am more organized tomorrow.

Morning team. Guess I didn't post yesterday. I think I started to but must have quit for some reason and didn't get back to it. Oh well, I'm here now.

Yesterday was a very busy day at work with customers and weird stuff. I know full moon is soon. Brings out all the strange stuff.

Went to Dh's aunt's viewing last night. Saw some family we haven't seen in a while. Her funeral is today but we can't go. I can't leave work and DH is leaving for the weekend with our DIL's dad and going to a car show down in York, PA. He has a street rod he drives down. He mostly built it himself. Sure wish our car would get done. The person working on it is supposed to pick up the last parts for it this weekend at a different car show in Carlisle, PA. Maybe in the next week or two it will be ours!!

Talked to my sister Wednesday evening. She was to get out of rehab yesterday in time to see her daughter walk across the stage and get her high school diploma. She is doing ok. She can now put 25% weight on it and is off of most of the pain meds. Has a little infection in the incision but taking antibiotics for it and seems to be going away. She will continue with PT and OT until her ankle surgery, now scheduled for July 11.

TTFN and TGIF

Good job Pam.

Morning team. Lost .2 at TOPS last night. Not what I was hoping for but a loss is a loss so I'll take it.

Work today then it's off to the grocery store and put gas in the car. I'm out of fruit and veggies and I miss them.

Hopefully I can get a walk in tonight.

We had a good day too and a busy one! Got our monthly grocery shopping done. Bought healthy foods (it costs to eat healthy-but well worth it!). Had about 4 other errands and it was really hot and humid, so I was glad to get home into the A/C and get quieter. Stayed on track with food and exercise!

I had sort of a strange but good day. I went to the first class of a beginning pilates class and I think I will enjoy it. I also began my volunteer work at the local hospital. Nothing more than being a Pink Lady. I managed to weed in the yard for a bit and spray for the deer. Stopped by the community office t sign checks and picked up fresh vegetables from the farmer's market.

All very little things in themselves, but curiously a very satisfying and comforting day.

Morning team. Got our flowers to plant last night. DH will work on that today. Knee is still sore but better. Not as painful going up and down stairs.

TOPS tonight. Scale is down a little. Hope it stays that way.

TTFN

Shadow-Glad you realized you needed to stop. Most people, like my DH, would not and just keep going. He is such a workaholic.

Earnie- Sorry to hear about the class & instructor being missing. I hope it gets sorted soon so you can start them.

Donna- Sympathies to your DH and his family on the passing of his aunt. You had quite a weekend. I hope you knee gets better soon.

I hope today goes better for everyone. I will be busy most of the day, but plan to get a bit of a break in here and there.

Hey team. Didn't get to post all weekend, sorry. Was over at the antique machinery show and at work since last Wednesday. It was a busy weekend. We left the show by 10am yesterday to bring the camper home and get to church as we were voting on a new preacher. We haven't had our own preacher since last August. She was voted in but won't start until sometime in August. After church, we had a 50th anniversary party to go to for our camping friends. They were very surprised and there were over 100 people there.

After we got back from there, we had to get the camper put away. DH got mad at me cause he wasn't paying attention to what I was telling him on how to back it in. He told me to go to the house, I said fine but couldn't get in cause I hadn't taken my purse. I went back to the camper and opened the door and rammed my knee into the corner of it. It is very sore today, especially going up and down stairs. Matches my mood.

Got word yesterday that DH's aunt passed away. She had cancer of the liver and had just been put on morphine and they were going to look into hospice today. It's sad but she is no longer in pain. Not sure exactly how old she was but I do know she was 93.

Started my 2 week trial of Miralax this morning, doctor's suggestion. Hope it "works".

Mauitn-Sorry about your class. I've had that happen with a zumba class before. Not very nice.

Well Poo! I have been waiting for the beginning pilates class to begin today at noon at the gym. I was there early and the instructor never shoed and the attendant at the desk didn't know anything about anything.

Been flat out busy here. I am hoping that maybe I can finally get on top of things this month and have a bit more free time.

Pam- emoticon on losing weight again this week. You are doing great!

Earnie- I know what you mean about lists and distractions. I have so much going on, I really need to prioritize more and get some of these things done and dusted so I can get time to relax and catch up.

SHADOW1012- Wow, you have been busy. I am sure you are burning lots of calories with all that activity. emoticon

Morning all. My plans for the day are Church and then working on my plans, food, and things that need to be done this week. I am too easily distracted and end up getting nothing done. I need to make a list and follow it.

hi gang....havent been around much, but i do read your posts each day. have been busy with outside projects. finished the flower container out front, and it came out really well. gives a good division to separate property lines without being really obvious....and it looks really pretty!. my next project is to paint my patio slab (concrete) and then put up the gazebo and outside things are finished! not sure what i will do today...leaning towards painting the slab while the weather will be nice.
i have decided to restart my sparks program. i changed my goals and am starting everything all over again....
off to start my day. just wanted to pop in and say hi. have a wonderful weekend.
