My husband found a green rock in the river rock in front of our house and at first I thought it was just on the outside but it looks green all the way through I can't wait to tumble it I would like to find out what it is

I remember seeing my first star sapphire. I thought it was magic!

Yes, opals are brilliant in color. Irridescent like.

COLOUR--- so hard to choose.
I was given a opal for Christmas and I was SO SURPRISED! So it is my favourite right now.

My favorite gemstone is sapphire - blue. I also love quartz stones of every color. My DH flintknaps stones into arrow heads. I tried once but cut up my hands too much. *S*
