Hi, this is Tracy, I've been out of Spark People for a while. I reached my goal but gained 40 lbs of it back. Now I'm doing a second go around. Yesterday ended up being a stressful day for me I wasn't feeling to good. Allergies was bothering pretty bad yesterday. I am a Home Health Aide and yesterday I had 3 clients which normally would be fine but yesterday I had trouble with it that I just can't seem to pinpoint. I think my eating patterns was bad yesterday I ate a healthy breakfast, a healthy snack but I thi things started going really bad when I coulden't eat lunch when I wanted to. My head was getting worse. After I ate lunch I felt a little better but by the time I got home I was exhausted I pretty much at a snack and went to bed. I had a full day yesterday so I cou exercise wich is bothering me because I'm doing the walkabout challenge on this site. So I didn't get to it yesterday or Sunday because I was busy Sunday as well. I'm going to have to make myself do my exercises first thing. I didn't put my foods in or make any post because my head was just hurting to bad. BUT today is another day, I'm not throwing in the towel yet. I Have a goal I'm working on reaching and I plan to succeed. I Plan to make this NEW DAY🌅 a GREAT one. I wish all of you the best on your journeys.

I literally have been eating like an unhealthy teenager since May. Between graduation parties, Mother's Day, my birthday, family bbq's & weddings...I'm really feeling out of control. I know that I'm stronger than food & am feeling so overly stuffed that I know I have to get control on this NOW. I lost 40 lbs between July 2013 thru January 2014 & have gained almost all of it back. Although an illness assisted in my weight loss, I vowed, I wouldn't return to my pre-illness weight, but now I'm about 10 lbs from that weight. Today is a new day...not just because it's Monday, but because I'm not going to let food control me. It's going to take some strength, especially spiritual, to eat & exercise when my flesh doesn't feel like it, but through God...I know I can do this! Thank you for allowing me to share!!

Not following my diet protocol, could have lost much more weight instead of boucing back and forth. I also have not been getting to the pool as much as I would like, too cold and too much snow..

Good morning
First of all, I want to thank all of you for encouragement, supportIng and prayers. I havebeen MIA for about 4 years. Since then I have recovered from donating a kidney (2007) married (2009) and had a tumor removed by my brain that was affecting my vision (2-18-2013).
I have been active with my wellness team at my job. I have made a decisIon to come back to the team. I have gained about 20 pounds. I am ready and motivated now. I'm in it to win it. I'm coming back taking it slow. Thanks for everything.

Last night I watched 4 episodes of Supernatural with my daughter instead of studying for the entire 5 hours as planned. Then I stayed up until 1 am on Facebook. Got up today and ate beyond my fullness level due to the residual fatigue and only exercised 5 minutes. But I am going to do 30 mins of cardio and have my dinner of juice.

Eating healthy will always be a struggle for some of us. The trick is to be prepared with what to eat. If we don't prepare the meal at home we at least have to prepare what we will eat while out. I have to take healthy snacks along with me when I don't know where I be when I get hungry like when I'm out shopping.

Yes dear, I found that out a long time ago. If I don't eat I don't lose. In fact just before sparkpeople I went on slimfast. I loved the shakes and I ate one healthy meal each day. I ended up sick and not losing one pound.

I ate homemade pumpkin bread - 4 slices - yep just greedy - was not even hungry just saw everyone else eating and lost my way for a few minutes

I am back on track - had a nutri blast veggie/fruit smoothie for dinner whiles everyone else had meatless vegetable chili and homemade cornbread

I was fine after that

Now I have to get this pumpkin bread out of my house

So did I. I went on a short road trip with friends and ended up eating well over 1000 calories at one meal. I felt so disappointed in myself. emoticon Of course I will get back on track. I cooked today to take lunch to work. That's helps 100%
