When I'm faced with this issue, I pick the best thing to eat on the menu...most fast food is not healthy, but some things are better to eat than others when in a bind. I typically go with the chicken salad with no chips and no dressing as a go to.

I also love the fall and winter weather. I use my slow cooker like crazy. I am also on Pinterest and they have lots of healthy meal ideas, and it is ready when you get home. I make my lunch before I go to bed and that way I just put ice in my bag and out the door I go. It takes time but once you get it you will be smiling and so proud of yourself.

I plan my meals for the week. Then I prepare as much as I can for the week. That way I know what to eat and when. If I am in a hurry, I can just grab and go. I also track my food early. I see that I am within my range and it helps motivate me not to eat anything else. Hope this helps. emoticon

I like the suggestion of tracking points the day before as tracking is my weakness. I do usually cook on Sunday, at least the main dish.

Write down/plan your meals for the next day the night before and make sure that you have all of the ingrediates. By writing it down you are making a commitment. If this is still a problem, then cook your meats for the week on Sunday or split into two days Sunday and Wednesday. This will prevent you from grabbing unhealthy food. Even if you eat something unhealthy one day you should still track your calories. Entering your calories the day before will help. You can always modify them.

Cheers

I am struggling to find a balance on how to manage the things in my life and taking in healthy meals. It seems am always running behind, taking the kids to their events, and finding time for my husband. I end up skipping a meal or eating something unhealthy because I don't have time to get something healthy. HELP!!! Does anyone have any tips.
