One of my co-workers just told me the same thing about herself. I hope that you will grow to accept the good compliments and shake off the bad ones. Don't beat yourself up ~ focus on all the hard work you are putting into this weight lost journey.
When I first started losing the weight, I got lots of compliments from people who had not seen me in a while and wanted to know what I was doing - good chance to promote the Spark. Now I get lots of people who are also trying to lose weight to ask me if they should or should not eat something (calories), or tell me what exercising they're doing and how much they are doing - that to me is an even bigger compliment that I inspired them to also get healthy.
Psalms 34:7 - Delight your self in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart.
Before you ask God for Anything, remember to first thank him for Everything

Yes, I have received some compliments and it does help keep me motivated. Although, I am a long way from my goal. Every pound I lose and inch gone; I feel better about my hard work that I am putting in.
God's Favorite! It all begins with Willpower.
