After Being Overweight Since Childhood And Having Lost 68 Pounds As Of This Date, I SEE What I Will BE At My Desired Weight Of 145 And I Keep My Focus On That. I Don't See The Body I'm In NOW. I Also Think About The Other Goals In My Life That Will Require Me To Have More Public Contact And How I Want To Appear To Them. I Think About Living Long And Strong And If I Don't Stay On This Journey It Gets Harder As I Age. But MOST Of All I Have Some of The BEST MOTIVATING SPARK FRIENDS!
It's A POSSIBLE Journey! That's What I KNOW! One Day At A Time Trusting God To Lead Me The Way I Should Go In EVERY Way!
HOLLA @ JESUS!!!

LOVE NEVER FAILS!
Things that keep me motivated is knowing that I have family that depend on me. So I have to stay healthy so that I can live a healthy life. It motivates me when I hear others compliment me on how I look. The way I feel when I work out and afterwards is amazing. It motivates me to think about how far I have come. I know if I continue on that road, that I will eventually reach my goal.
1) when someone says - "you are not 56";
2) when my friends start thinking about their fitness and what they eat and they ask "can I have that?",
3) when my body says, "hello, you haven't given me a good sweat workout in a few days, let's go",
4) when I promise myself a Sunday evening ice cream treat if I stay on track with food and exercise all week
5) when I go for a walk/jog and I jog more than I walk
and last but not least
6) when I look in the mirror and say "girl, you are doing/looking/being/feeling good !
It keeps me going !! This is a lifestyle - there is no end in sight!
Psalms 34:7 - Delight your self in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart.
Before you ask God for Anything, remember to first thank him for Everything
A very special 10 year old, who call me everyday and say " Nana, did you walk yet. Don't forget to eat all of you veggie & fruit, oh yes not red meat today " He say he's my life coach . Fun the things one does for children.

All of the extreme symptoms I had in the past from high blood pressure which leads to heart attack, stroke, aneurysm, high cholesterol, poor health early in life or late in life, physical pain and agony...is what kept me and what keeps me motivated to stay healthy and fit today. That's it.
My symptoms were there all the time: migraines, water retention, this dull pain that sat in the back of my head 24/7, fatigue and a constant numbness in my face, hands and feet. I was in my 20's when all of this was going. Now, I'm 34 and all of that is gone..what I do still get is water retention from time to time that can increase my blood pressure into a pre-hypertension status (the bottom number - diastolic - 85-90)
So it's all about good health for me. Looking and feeling great is just a bonus.

Although, I have been on this roller coaster ride (of weight lost) for most of my life. Once, I have gotten started; my willpower just kicks into overdrive mode!
My motivation this time around is learning to eat healthy from the start and realize that this has to be a way of life for my family and I.No more fast diets for quick results.
Also, when I go to the gym it just makes me feel so much better.
God's Favorite! It all begins with Willpower.
For those who have stuck with a program and lost weight - what is it that keeps you motivated? I'll do great for about 6 - 8 weeks then get over confident and then start back to my old habits. It's been a consistent roller coaster. The funny thing is in all other areas of my life I'm known to push through.......
I'd like to hear - what keeps you going on your weight loss journey.
Thanks for the support.
