Okay I am in with starting something after Christmas....that can end maybe February 4th
Let me know your idea. and lets get started. out of all the groups I am certain the BBQ's are watched because black women in America make up the highest group of obesity, heart disease, highblood pressure, strokes and diabetes, breast cancer... and we cannot let obesity win. changing our minds, the way we eat, think, etc, and never giving up..Im ready

stilllosin what happened with our team leader? I was wondering did we fall off or something? usually she post something, I pray all is well. If they don't start one after Christmas we should come up with one for Winter to Spring challenge something. It keeps me motivated to see others posting and weighing in. I just hate the BBQ are not consistent. all the other teams look at us to see what we doing.

I use my work gym my goal is to get to the gym 11x starting 11/12/12, those are the days I will be at work. Log in my fitness minutes, track my water and steps.

My challenge for November will be successful (speak positivity and it will come back in droves). I am planning to run/walk 75 miles for the month (13.1 miles are already set for 11/11 - my first half marathon) and lift heavy using this workout: http://www.niashanks.com/2012/05/minimum-training-maximum-results-sample-workout/.

I also will track my food. Tracking has been my crutch in the past. This month, I plan to toss that crutch to the side.

Let's get it, Ladies!!!

No matter how slow you go, you are lapping those on the couch.

Hey my BBQ's! I've decided to start Weight Watchers again. I've been waaay off for the last couple of months & know I need to get it together. Dealing with the winter blues & winter ain't even here yet!! I read a great motivating article about R&B Diva Karyn White (she's making a comeback BTW!!). She discussed how women in their 40's get in a slump like their prime is over (Me), where we're at that weird place of not feeling young anymore yet not old either. But she said that we make our own destiny & this is our prime because most of our children are leaving the nest & we have more time for ME! I kinda gave up on this weight loss journey, saying to myself, I'll never be THAT size again. But reading that article motivated me to get out of that slump. I'm not using the new WW system because I have all the tools from the old system...before JHud. That system worked for me so I'm stickin with that. Great job to everyone staying on track!

You can do it too! Keep on keepin' on! I lifted weights only for one month, adding cardio for the next month...plus clean (as possible) eating, supplements, water....it's working!

I did't see any challenge, but I'm challenging myself to exercise 6 days of week for 30-45 mins either on the treadmill, ellipical, or use a dvd workout, and track my meals and snacks.

Sorry I did not complete this challenge or at least update. I never stopped tracking. The week after I signed on to the challenge I took ill with Viral meningitis and was pretty much bed ridden for 3 weeks.

I am as good as new now. and still on track.

I decided I'll do a little goal of my own since I can't seem to stay on track..Mrs. Do Wrong, so let's see how this go.

This week goal:Drink@least 6 cups of water, exercise@least 2 times, no eating after 10pm, and no sodas!!! Now this begins today through Sunday, "I Can Do This!!"

I didn't post any last week. I tried this new workout center in my area called Crossfit. I got on the scale yesterday, and to my surprise, I lost 3.8 pounds. YAAAY for me! I am so excited and ready for week 2. I look forward to seeing how much I lose during week 2.

Hi, I completely fell off for August it started with family visiting from out of town for 11 days. For the whole month of August I went to the gym 4x and walked every day but not enough to call it a walking workout. I am going to do so much better in the fall since the weather will be cooler.

No weight loss emoticon but my legs are toningemoticon

Congrats to all who lost weight and made it to the finish line.

This challenge was really a challenge for me. I didn't lose the weight I set for myself but I'm down 4.1 lbs after starting over. I've learned a lot and now I'm on my way to losing slow and steady. See y'all on the next challenge. emoticonemoticonemoticon

Hi Queens, did my weigh-in this morning and here are my stats:

SW: 197.4
CW: 186.7
GW 185

I didn't quite make my goal, but I got sooo close. I'm very happy with my results because without the structure of this challenge, I'm not sure I would have worked as hard!emoticon

I'm setting a new goal for this month so I hope to see my fellow Queens at the next challenge. Thanks for inspiring me!

It's been great being in this challenge with you too, LadyFitne.

I had similar issues with my old digital scale and ended up replacing it with a new WW one (from Target) and it's been great. Very consistent.

SW is 238 GW is 218

This has been an interesting couple of months my starting weigh was 238 and my current weight is 239 both weighs are not accurate. At this point I am not sure how much I weigh. The scales play tricks with me. Sometimes up sometimes down. I do know that I lost inches and my clothes fits a lttle bit loser. I do know I am stronger then I was a few months ago.

As always I enjoyed this challenge with you ladies and I wish you the best on this Labor Day weekend. emoticonemoticon

Wa are all Champions because we decided to make a changeemoticon But don't stop here keep moving forward.

Yesterday I stayed within calorie range only did 45 mins of exercise got water inemoticon

Today already got in 60 mins exercise in breakfast and a snack. 3 8 oz Water. After work I will do my strength training in that I miss yesterday.emoticon Queensemoticon

Yesterday I went over on calories. I took a Zumba class and drink about 6 glasses of water
Today I stayed with calorie range emoticonI walked for 5 milesemoticon and I drank 6 glasses of water.emoticon

Workout today rode the bike 3 .5 miles, lower back-20, shoulder press-50, chest press-50, vertical butterfly-50/ and I did other execrises also today...3 meal for today...my water and juice.
