I think we could be good "realtity check" buddies! :-) I can IM once I set up an account I guess--I have an iPhone, so I'm sure I can. I also need a little help in the motivation department. After joining SP, I was looking forward to starting my weight loss journey...again, then I had a meeting that lasted 3 days at a ritzy country club and I ate myself silly, but it was soooo good. Now my motivation is weaning. I like the goals you have set for 5lbs at a time, that's very doable.

I think I need a little push or to take another step and try something and see if it helps or works to help me on my journey to weight loss and being healthier.
So I'm looking for an accountability pal, but one that is very accessible and loves to IM. By IM (instant messaging) I mean someone that has a phone that will allow easy access to IMing like using Whatsapp or Blackberry Messenger for instance. Someone that is looking for a pal that they can chit chat to, ask questions and have similar weight loss goals. Someone that is looking to gain a friend. Someone that is looking for a pal to text/IM when they ate something not so healthy and feels down and wants someone to talk to it about. I live in Jamaica so if you have a plan that allows international texting or something that always works as I can email my responses.
I'm 28, 5' 4", 185lbs and looking to lose 5 lbs at a time. I've set mini goals and once I get to one 5 lb then I'll move to another.
One day at a time........one small change at a time to amount to big results ^_^
