I really love my Polar. I'm learning of "smart" workouts that will burn a ton of calories, without the extra hard work. Sure I mix up the intensity, but I'm finding out that I don't have to kill myself in the process. For instance, a brisk, 6 mile walk (90mins for me) burns at least 800 cals vs. a 45 min step class that only burns about 450 cals. Sure it's a long walk, but I don't mind at all....heck a 4 mile walk (70 mins for me) burns 498 cals. Loving it!
BTW, one more 6 mile walk and I will meet my goal for cals burned for this week. The only this to focus on will be my diet and strength training.
