I have been doing 15 push ups and some strength training with light weights here at home. I do two sets of everything in the morning, after lunch, and in the evening after spending time with my boys. It's all I can do to keep myself active right now. I'm trying not to hurt myself while on crutches...again...for the umpteenth time! emoticon And I do stretches to keep from stiffening up so much. I will keep moving and positive! emoticon emoticon

Well, I finally am adjusted to those medications.

Yesterday I did 1 1/2 hours of Tai Chi in the class. Man my legs hurt.

Today I did 1 hour on the Recumbent Bike, 10 minutes stretching and well get my Tai Chi in this evening. It is a great exercise for us with health problems and moves parts of my body that I do not seem to move during my exercises.

It s funny. All he did was increase the doses and I am having problems adjusting to them. When he prescribed the new medication a couple weeks ago it only took 2 days to adjust to them.

Ok, Got my stretching and Tia Chi in today. I was going to attempt the gym but dad had a meeting and I had to stay home and baby sit my mom. lol

The last couple days I have been adjusting to the changes of medication that the Rheumatologist made on Thursday. Been stiff and tired which seem opposite of what I should be feeling. So other then stretching I have not done much.

My new favorite exercising is: GeoCaching. You use a GPS for coordinates to an "outside treasure hunt". Normally it is just a piece of paper you sign, saying you have been there and found it. It is a blast! It will also keep you active, outside and it's free!!!

After last week being a very busy week and not getting any gym time, I finally made it back to the gym. Did my hour of Strength exercise. 20 minutes of stretching and 20 minutes each on the bike and elliptical. My legs feel like they are going to fall off today but it made me feel good. I am also taking a Tai Chi class. It is wonderful and is helping me a lot.

How's the fitness going? I am walking everyday now. I take the Dallas Train to work in Downtown Dallas so I walk to and from the stations. It's about a 1/2 mile per day. Not a lot but I try to do more on the weekends. I miss you so please write back!

I started a new job for LPC and am a Turn Manager ( schedule all make readies) for 742 units. A lot are on the 3rd floor. I am constantly walking up and down the stairs. Everyday. I dod go a mile on the treadmill too. WOOHOO- Keep moving!!!

Have not been feeling good so other then a little walking have not gotten much in.

Don't be harsh on yourself if you could not get it done because you had other priorities. Just do the best you can, when you can.

I did lousy with the exercise and i did lousy with the eating.
Ive been in Berlin for a few days, too much sitting at the conference, unhealthy food, too much beer ;-)
I had my elastic-bands with me and only did a few exercises against back-pain.
Did a little yoga during the week too, not the hard kind.For pain relief only.
So i have to start over again the rest of this week ...

So letme join in - maybe not for a daily report but for a weekly one.

I have a lot of problems with my knee. Huge tendinitis that keeps me from Working out.

So Doctor prescribed me a tens/ems. This little Black Box works for me. I use it twice a day for one hour or so.
Workoutwise i only did light stretches and some upper body strenght-training.
I got myself a new gymnastik-ball and i found a lot of interesting workouts on youtube. I use small weights and elastic tapes.
Got myself a balanceboard too the last week, but i need an strong mans hand to put it togheter :-(

Moving gets a habit for me!

Gym wise i struggle a lot. But i got me a new prescription from my doctor - insurance will pay for it another year. Yeah. At last they told me on the phone..
I neglected my AS-Group for a month. Its on thursday nights and im all too tired to get in my car and go there. But i have to.

that is great that you did 60 m minutes on the elliptical.

Did a 30 minute walk. Had a bad asthma flare up when I was going to the gym, so that is out for the day.
