I don't know what state or school system you are in but it sounds like you might need to confide in a union representative to protect yourself. I agree that this administrator sounds pretty petty and seems to be picking on you. Do you have tenure yet? If you have had good evaluations in the past that will go better for you too. You shouldn't have to go through this unfair treatment without the support of your teachers' union if you need it.

Keep your spirits up and take good care of yourself. It is always darkest just before dawn. emoticon

I am so sorry that you are dealing with this. Sounds like the administration in your building is quite petty! And to send an e-mail rather than talk to you directly!?! I just don't get it...
Anyway, keep reminding yourself, "Only X days left!" as summer is right around the corner. I really hope that you have some people you can talk to and trust, whether it's in school or outside of school. I'm crossing my fingers and will say a prayer that you get transferred to the middle school!! If you don't, do you have a plan "B"? Can you go to the Board of Education and talk to someone? Are there other places at which you can apply?
You are such a sweet person... It's terrible that your working environment has become so tense/aggressive. The stress is not only bad for your physical ailments (IBS, etc.), but also your emotional well-being as well. It's a vicious cycle, huh? Continue doing your job with a positive attitude, take care of yourself (healthy eating, exercise, support from friends and family and, of course, a little R&R), while still exploring other employment options. Just curious, are they singling you out or do they treat everyone like this? Do keep us posted and do trust that the SP community is here for you! xo

I am so sorry for this situation. I can certainly understand why you are upset. I do hope that you can transfer to the junior high building. emoticon

Hello everyone!

I'm still having a really rough time at work. For whatever reason the new administrator(s) in my building have been harassing me. I am a hardworker and do my job. This is the first time I have had a problem. Today I received an email telling me they observed me chewing gum while in the library with students and that I need to refrain from doing so. This are the things that I'm referring to that are giving me such trouble with the IBS, as well as migraines. I would like to request prayers/positive energy/thoughts to help me make it through the rest of the school year...37 days! And that I get the transfer to the junior high building that I requested. Thank you so much!
