I have what I lovingly call IBS-switch, but D-predominant. The vicious cycle kind.
Well, recently I was reading the SparkPeople Cookbook and they recommend drinking a glass of milk with practically every meal! Blech! For one, I can't stand the taste of milk and for two, I don't tolerate it very well, either. So I was poking around and thinking, drinkable yogurt, perfect!
And then started researching kefir. A lot of websites say it helps alleviate IBS problems and symptoms including gas, diarrhea, constipation and cramping.
Anyone give it a shot or have any personal experience to share?
