I guess I'm pretty lucky. I usually know what foods caused my distress. I can almost taste them when they are making me sick in any way. Not so good when it's one of your favorites that might have cause the vomiting, etc. Yuck!

I think its different for everyone. I usually have an attack within the hour of eating a trigger food. I have finally stabilized my ibs with shakeology. It also lower my dads cholesterol. Hi Team Friends: I had a very bad bout of IBS-D that kept me up all night last night in terrible pain. We all know what's that like and I don't have to go into details, right? Everyone's been there
My question is:
The food that triggers the attack...is it the food eaten just before the attack or could it be from early on such as breakfast let's say. I hope that my question is clear. Like, I had some food before going to bed...than at 1 a.m. the pain woke me up and it was downhill after that. Is it the food that I ate before going to bed or could it be from a past meal?
It would be so much easier if I could know what food triggers it and pinpoint the meal.
