I have tried DA, but it didn't really help me. In fact I found that it made it really hard for me to pass gas and that was a painful experience. I take Align instead, and I admit I am a bit gassy with it, but it sure feels better than not. But with both probiotics I tried to keep my routine the same. I take all of my medications before bed. That way they are into my system for several hours before I have to do anything. I have a really sensitive stomach and colon, so I have to plan everything around what I am doing. I have taken my probiotics during the day before with little issue. But I discovered things related to my IBS are better managed if I take them at the same time of day, and I am less likely to forget for several hours or all together.
Do remember it can take a week or even two before you really see significant changes if the probiotics help. So just give it time before you give up on it, or call it a miracle pill. Best of luck :D
