I haven't had the problem with not drinking as much water (mine goes the opposite -- I keep trying to increase it and get D), but I think the more water the better if you are having constipation. At least that is what they keep saying on all the doctors shows. The more water is supposed to keep things moister and thus softer.

I've been Sparking for about 1 month now, and had been quite pleased with how well I was doing with my IBS, though I wasn't sure exactly which aspect(s) of my new lifestyle was/were helping. But the past couple days my tummy has started acting up again (gas, cramps, sticky messy BMs that are hard to pass (sorry if TMI) ) and I'm thinking maybe it's because I've not been drinking as much water lately (that was a major change I made when I started SP). Anyone experience something similar?
