TMILES47~Glad that you are listening to your body and your spiritual side as well. I attend church services every Sunday ad tonight we will go back for our Parent's Time Out group where we will be watching a movie. Also, our early morning service called the IMAGINE Service is meeting to get some ideas of what to do for the coming year. Sundays are always busy days for us but it's good to be busy and then come home to relax! Quiet reflection is what I have been doing a lot of since it has been raining so much and it puts me in the mood for reflecting on things~especially at this time of the year! Thinking of wholeness and wellness is also a good way to look at life everyday. The more positives we have in our lives the better! Hugs to all!
Dance as though no one is watching you, love as though you have never been hurt, sing as though no one can hear you and live as though heaven is on earth.
Thanks for this excellent reminder. My body is saying it needs oatmeal and fruit again this morning, so that's what we're going to have. I'm going to church today, something I only do occasionally, so I'm looking forward to the spiritual experience. Blessings to everybody, and I hope you find some time for quiet reflection today. Think wholeness. Think wellness. Think lightness. Think this is the year for your to be at your best and happiest.
To Thintwin2, You are 100% right. It took me being my mother's advocate to learn to have a stiffer backbone. You are living in your body and know instinctively when something is not right. Good for you. Now, I hope you can heal better with the knowlege under your belt. I learned long ago (I'm 70) that docs are not gods. Feel better and take care of yourself. Phyllis

My doctor told me it's IBS, try this treatment and if it doesn't work, come back. Well, it didn't work and I didn't go back but 2 months later I had had enough so I persisted and asked for a colonoscopy which he told me I didn't need. I had the scope and I have colitis. So, if you aren't getting the answers you need from your doctor or don't think you feel right, listen to your body and have the confidence to know when something isn't right. I am respectful and cosiderate with my doctor but am learning to be more assertive too. I was right this time. A year is too long to suffer with anything!
"In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength. " Isaiah 30:15
