I was told to take Calcium with zinc and magnesium to avoid the constipation. I also take Flaxseed Oil caplets and try to make sure I drink lots of water!

Vitamin D3 seems have done wonders for my IBS-D. I take enough D3 to keep a testing level between 60 to 70ng/ml. Ever since doing that, what used to be a severe problem, has become very manageable.

I also changed my diet at the same time, eating low carb/paleo. So hard to say for sure which item helped the most, but regardless nice to no longer think of Imodium as one of the major food groups!

Thought this was a good article by a cardiologist on how to take D3 properly, since the sunshine vitamin is really a hormone and not so much a vitamin.

That is good! It seems like whenever I take Vitamin D I get constipated :(. I will have to try taking it again and drinking more water and/or eating more fiber as well. Hope it helps me, too!
