JESWEL, thanks for the great advice. I find that I will try to ignore symtoms that I am about to have an episode because I don't want family members to get aggravated because i have to make a trip to the restroom. Thanks for giving me courage!
MAMACITAOF8~ I used to make my stepdad smoke outside when we moved into our first house which was brand new. I also didn't want my kids to be around the smoke. He decided he would rather spend time indoors with his granchildren than stand outside have a smoke!
For me, I haven't really stopped any bad habits totally but am working on cutting our ordering fast foods or those sweetened coffees. Cuts down on excess junk food and pads my pocketbook for other things!
Dance as though no one is watching you, love as though you have never been hurt, sing as though no one can hear you and live as though heaven is on earth.
I quit smoking!!! I smoked for 17 yrs. I would stop during my 4 pregnancies including breastfeeding and then pick it right up. After they found out I had fatty liver disease and diabetes, I contemplated the idea but I quit after my daughter who is bipolar begged me stop. October 25, 2007 after praying, I put on my patch and I started the day without a cigarette. I haven't gone back since!!! Every day is a struggle but I look at my children especially my daughter, and I am thankful for them and for God's grace on me!!!
