Oh that is so sweet of you, but no thanks. I will be more assertive and ask at the service counter of 1 or 2 of the stores. I will stop being a grump who just mumbles under my breath and learn to speak up! Thanks for the recipe.

You're welcome, Cricket! I've just come back from a quick jog and walk and did a few stretches. I was feeling down because the scale showed that I gained a pound despite my efforts, but I've decided to just keep pushing forward and try again. Blessings to you today!

Oh, we have those in every store here. Sorry you can't find them! I was trying to choose something healthier with the whole grain crackers. I'd actually prefer to oyster crackers, too, but I passed them over. If you want me to send you some, just send me your mailing address by Spark Mail.

Why is it that I can't find oyster crackers or Nabisco soda crackers anymore? I've been to 3 large supermarkets. Do people only want the ones with a lot of additives? I'm bummed out. I like these with a plain broth.

1 pound of ground round
1 bag (or two) of frozen vegetables
spices to taste
organic chicken broth for extra flavor

Put the ground round into a crockpot and let it brown. Add vegetables, broth, and water as needed. Add sweet paprika, pepper, salt, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, ground mustard, or anything else you've got in the spice cabinet that will jazz up your soup.

Serve with whole grain crackers. So easy, and so yummy. I'm going to try to have just one bowl.
