Clothing Items that motivate me to stay on track (especially now that it is Fall & Cooler in DC, i.e., I could easily crave hot pizza during those football games & hide in tres chic 70's style oversized sweaters -- NOT!). These top 3 help me want to remain in ANTMShape (America'sNextTop ModelShape):
1. My "good skinny jeans" - you know the ones that are a little smaller, but make your tush look steller in 4 inch pumps = gotta fit in them for a possible future 'hot date' :-) (not the jegging pajama casual jeans, though comfy, so Not hot...Lol.
2. My Trina Turk bikini - it 's hot, it's cute & I will be mad at myself if by next summer it no longer fits! (cuz it wasn't cheap! ;-)
3. Lastly, of course my fav pink nike jog bra - if my abs aren't right it stays in the 'lowly drawer'. I wore it today in the gym, so far it still gets to come out & play...hope it makes it through the winter & doesn't get replaced with an old tank or tee...as if! I am a firm believer when you look good at the gym, your work-out is better & longer!

I have my very old jeans waiting for me in a wardrobe. I had two pairs of them, and they used to fit me perfectly, but then I gained some weight and couldn't even zip them. I try them on twice a month to test when it's time.
Also, I going to Hawaii in 2 months and I love beach holidays, but seeing myself in bikinis doesn't make me very happy. I don't think I have ever been this motivated to get my body to shape.
Hi, I'm new to this Team and wanted to say I loved your post. The last time I got into really good shape, I was motivated by my wedding and honeymoon in Jamaica where I practically had to live in a bathing suit. That was about four years ago. Now, I'm back in Seattle, weather sucks here, and I hardly ever spend time in a bathing suit. So I let the winter weight pile on, and now I don't fit into my favorite jeans! So, my motivation now is a pair of William Rast jeans, and a pair of True Religion jeans!

For me personal, I've been on a roller coaster ride of gaining and losing weight! I started to gain weight when I was diagnosed with endometriosis. Over the next 2 years I had 3 major surgeries including a hysterectomy and am now on hormone therapy so I don't go into menopause at 29!
I was motivated a couple years ago by my best friend who invited me to be in her wedding! I ordered the dress at a larger size thinking they ran small. When I got it it actually fit and that sent me on my way to exercising every other day, watching my calories and by the time her wedding came around 3 months later I lost 26lbs, tons of inches and had to have the dress taken down 2.5 sizes! It was great!
Then of course I started a new job, got stressed not to mention they had a full kitchen stocked with snacks and sodas =) I was getting married in September 2010 and started to lose weight again to fit into my dress. That was the skinniest I've ever been!
Now, without a dress to motivate me to fit into I feel some what lost! I know it's bathing suit season and that should be enough so I'm hoping by my birthday in August I'll meet my goal weight!
