I was reading an article recently on improving self confidence. One of the activities was to list everything you love about yourself, everything you do well, and positive character traits and add to the list every day. I found myself struggling with the first item. On my way to Curves I found myself finding something else to add to my list. It's funny how difficult it is to find good things about ourselves yet how easy to list all the things we dislike about ourselves. Good luck. Please let me know how you are doing.

I just went for my daily walk/run and what a mess I was! I for some reason thought I'd wear shorts today because it's getting too hot. Mind you I haven't worn shorts in years and definitely not in public. The minute I put them on I knew I should have brought my normal attire of fitness capris, but I didn't. I spent the whole time thinking "OMG my thighs are going to slap me in the face then trip me as they get under my feet! This may make you chuckle and honestly the vision of it makes me chuckle! No matter how much I run or work out the ugly truth is I still hate my body belly button to knees! So 60 lbs later the question is how do you learn to accept you?
