McDonald's has a grilled chicken wrap. I'm not sure of the calories but it can't be much. I get it with out any sauce. I like it.

If your not part of the solution, you are part of the problem.

a kids happy meal with the chicken nuggets is only 10 points. i love that and you get to eat the fries. of course now with the apple dippers, there is no need for fries.

This isn't fast food but I wanted to know if you use just the smart ones, lean cuisines, healthy choice and progresso soups if you can lose weight just by eating thoses? I incorporate my WW food frm work into my daily meals. I only drink water and have a glass of WW orange juice a day. I exercise 4x's a week. It it possible that I can lose weight this way??

If you want to know the calories for their foods, you may check the company website. I've not been there so I don't know if they list it. You may try CalorieKing.com I've seen their foods listed there before.

I was just looking at the points values from Outback at dwlz.com but was just glancing so I can't recall exactly any points for the foods they offer Check out her website though and see what you think! Hugs, Sue

I'm going to go to outback steak house in a few weeks with my parents. Do you know the best food to eat there? I need to know the point value and calorie value? Thats what I'm keeping track of.

I am partial to subway. I love the salads and are only a couple of points.

Great tips Amy! I love Dotti's site. Looking up the food ahead of time is a great idea. Thanks for sharing!

I will usually look for a Subway and do the turkey on wheat or the grilled chicken sandwich on the wheat bun from Chick Fil A .. I can't pass up their fries though and will get a small. If my husband and I are planning a "bad meal" out then I will look up the points for the specific restaurant on a website that I have saved (www.dwlz.com). She has a huge number of restaurants with their menus and points values. I will usually pull it up right before we leave our house.

I love those ideas! My grocery store is Walmart & we don't have all those things available! I am in the country & 20 minutes from town, an hour from 3 major cities! So we don't get much fast food!

I loved grilled chicken salad! My fav!!!

Burgers with half the bun, topped with lettuce and I have had to ask for a fresh, big piece. No mayo or cheese, topped with ketchup (because I can control the amount I eat with the packets).

Taco bell salad with lettuce, beans, meat and tomatoes. Depending on who is working, they will make it without the shell. Some get really confused if you ask for a salad with no shell for some reason. lol!

We really try hard to not eat out at all though unless we are on vacation and the grocery stores are closed.

I love going to the grocery store for lunches though, you can get the salad greens in a bag, 1/2 precooked chicken from the deli, even boiled eggs are available in our deli. It usually tastes better than the fast foods places and it's sometimes even faster! Oh, and you never get asked to pull around! LOL!

I know this is fast food posts but these are fast food ideas right from your own kitchen...er with a little help from the store.

For quick meals like wraps and salads, you can get the precooked southwestern style chicken by Oscar Mayer. Great flavor!

Another thing I like to do is boil a bag of the boneless, skinless chicken breasts, seasoned with basic salt, pepper, and garlic. Keep it in a storage container in the fridge. We usually make chicken salad, sprinkle it on salad greens (seasoned with what ever seasonings go with the salad dressing we are using), in soups, stews,... I usually pre-shred it so it's ready to grab for whatever meal I need it for.

Apple Dippers are great! They make up for french fries!

As for Burger King, the whopper Jr. w/out mayo is only 6 points. I miss the cheese, but can do without! Chicken Tenders are 1 point each. I can't do without onion rings. They are my fav! A medim is 7 points, but small is only 3!

Since I just started back, I really have'nt thought about it, but I did check the apple dippers and they are only 2 points with the caramel sauce and fruit and yogurt parfaits are 3 without the granola ( I cannot find points value with the granola, does anyone know?) as far as a meal, I would probably get the grilled chicken ceasar with light italian dressing for 5 points

So when you go out to eat at a Restaurant, what do you choose?
Maybe we can help each other make good choices when we go out to eat!

I prefer Chicken McNuggets from McDonald's! Only 1 point per piece! Way better than a Big Mac (13 points)!
