Henry is scared of his shadow. If he sees a new object in the house, he tries to get away from it. He had a little blow up pool that he had been using all summer. I deflated it, but all the air wasn't coming out. All Henry saw was a big blue glob. He was terrified.
I guesss a better question for Jack is what doesn't terrify him? He is terrified of storms, but not fireworks, go figure. He is scared of brooms, mops, the vacuum, my white cane.... Anything like a rod of any sort.... He is scared of walkers and wheelchairs and canes. He seems to be scared of the pool and my stability ball. I'm sure the list is endless, but that is all I can think of right now.

To exist is to change, to change is to mature, to mature is to go on creating oneself endlessly. ~Henri Bergson
God grant me the serenity to accept the people I cannot change, the courage to change the one I can, and the wisdom to know it's me. ~Author Unknown
Frappé is afraid of thunders too, it's awful because every time he hears one, he climbs over the fence and runs to the street :S we keep making the fence taller and taller but he keeps climbing it!, Luckily he always just runs in circles and after a while, he comes back...
Spooky isn't afraid of anything, he's so brave :P
Pucca is afraid of cats.
Nikko is afraid of men (except for me I guess), weird noises, cats, plastic bags, his own leash and what terrifies him the most is Spooky... every time I take Spooky to get a haircut, Nikko doesn't recognize him (probably because of the "perfume") so when we go back home, he starts barking and crying like crazy lol my poor baby
Anna is afraid of all loud noises, such as thunder & fireworks, gun shots, etc. Molly isn't as afraid unless the thunder is really close. She never was afraid until a couple of years ago when the lightning hit in our yard ruining our dog fence & blowing the transformer right off the garage wall. We were lucky it didn't start a fire !!

Quin is afraid of thunder, but thank goodness she is going deaf so it has to be pretty darn close/loud to bother her now :-).
Peanut is afraid of most things with wheels...i.e. scooters, bikes, wheelchairs, strollers...but he's getting better about it! The vacuum cleaner is also the devil incarnate. I have a scar on my ankle where he bit me by mistake when he was trying to attack the vacuum cleaner years ago. Now he gets kenneled when I vacuum!
Jennifer is still shy of most people, but isn't really afraid of much. She's not crazy about the surf coming to get her either (which she'll be facing in a few days) but she'll even stand in the water with me as the waves come up around my knees. Loud noises don't seem to upset her.
Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the little voice at the end of the day that says I'll try again tomorrow. Mary Anne Radmacher
