Monday – not a happy camper. We had the roofer out on the 17th and supposedly our chimney cap and the area around it was fixed. Well, guess not so much. Had a storm blow thru this morning. The basement was dry during the storm. About 10 minutes after the storm passed, checked again. El crappo! Water in the SAME SPOT by the support beam right where the chimney is. Sooooo, waiting for them to call today to come FIX IT!

Otherwise, usual Monday. Mom’s carer will be here soon.

Tomorrow is the mammogram. Praying all goes well.

Update: found 2 leaks that need repairing, which the roofers are doing as I type. Ok then, that oughta just about crucify this month’s budget. **SIGH**

Thiry: good job on getting to the gym!

Sunny: YEAH to not being sick!

I hope you have a good time w/your sister! Sounds wonderful.

OH gosh! 70 yrs. YOUNG, Sunny. Happy birthday to both you and your sis!

Missing you and sending love and hugs your way (still have that protective bubble, too!)

Kelly: That protective bubble goes double for you! Hope you’re feeling better.

Sharon: Sounds like a wonderful Sunday!

Hugs y’all and see you @ 3 pm. May have a DOUBLE frozen hot chocolate! **SIGH**

Hugs and prayers for our soldiers, our families, our country and our world economy! LORD!

Hi All! Sunny good to see you here! Hope you have a wonderful trip and birthday celebration. Hope you enjoy your road trip.

Kelly hope you are home again where you belong.

Thiry you've been busy!

Barb hope you get some R&R this weekend.

Doin' my happy dance. DS and granddaughter came over today for about 4 hours. We went out for brunch, and all she wanted to do was play, color, and read together. It was a very nice day. DH and DS got to have some nice father son time together.

Enjoy your evening!

Barb, just saw this and wanted you to know I will keep you in my prayers. I am with Kelly in that it certainly could be stress. Hang in there and keep the faith.

I have been so busy but reporting I have not been sick. Yea! Rehab three times a week plus trying to get a year end report done for my circle.

Sis and I are going away on Friday to St. Charles (a little town outside of St. Louis). It is a quaint little town and home to Missouri's first capitol and the start of the Lewis Clark Expedition. I have not been there in years but understand it is still like walking back in time. We will go down Friday, spend the night and celebrate our BD together (we are turning 70 - YIKES) then come home on Saturday in time for DH to take us out to dinner in Quincy - the celebration continues. hehehehe

Our Son Brian and his wife got us tickets to go see "Dolly Parton" in Cedar Rapids on July 19th. We are so looking forward to the trip and the concert.

Sharon, how is everything going for you? Looks like you have been doing some traveling.

Kelly, Some friends of ours just bought a lot outside of Nashville near Franklin. They are getting ready to build so hopefully, God willing, we will be visiting soon.

Take care team, know I love you and miss you. Seems like there is just not enough time in the day. Ugh

Hugs, Sunny

BARB – I’m glad that your labs are looking better for you. Good luck on the recheck.

KELLY – I’m glad you are doing better.

SHARON – Thanks, I made it to the gym 4 times this week and actually saw some progress in the weight loss area so pretty happy about that.

It has been a busy week for me. I made it to the gym 4 days and had a good workout each day. Friday I had a massage instead of the workout then DH and I worked on finishing the application for the apartment before going to the movie. We went to Independence Day: Resurgence. DH really liked the movie but it wasn’t the kind of movie I care for. I would have enjoyed seeing Finding Dori a lot more that the one we watched. Today we had planned to take the application to the complex but we ended up sleeping too late and didn’t have enough time to get there. I will have to drop the application by on Monday and pay the processing fee. While DH played games on the computer I started repotting plants in the new planters that we had purchased a couple weeks ago. When I finished that I took a shower and we left to run to the store as I decided to get my granddaughter t-shirt similar to the one we got her brother for his 1st birthday. I thought maybe she would feel left out and that a small gift might make her day. She really liked the shirt. My GS’s other grandmother is really over protective of him. She wouldn’t even let him walk around the club house with me following him as “he might fall and hit his head on something”. The party lasted from 2-9:30 and of course there were there earlier setting up and the little guy didn’t get to run around and play hardly at all during this whole time. There was one time when she was pushing him around in the stroller when my DS and I met eyes and he said “first grandchild on that side”. A little later when we were away from the rest of the group I made the comment that Connor will probably be glad to get home where he can get down, run and play and DS agreed. Other than watching her be way overprotective it was a good day with the kids at the party.

I was talking about our bus trip in August and said that the sponsor was performing at the Ozone this Wednesday evening and that maybe they would like to join us there. She said we would have to talk to her husband. DH was going outside when I told him about my conversation so he talked to her husband. It looks like the kids and her mom & stepdad are going to be joining us at the Ozone for Bill’s show. I think it should be a fun evening. Tomorrow is the Willy Nelson concert so should be another fun day.

Have a great Sunday everyone.
Thiry

Saturday – What a gorgeous day yesterday. Beautiful weather.

Hmmmm . . . the stock market, NOT so beautiful yesterday. Good thing the weekend is here for things to hopefully cool down a little. We live in such a small world, things ½ way across the world impact us, too.

Hugs and prayers for our soldiers, families, country and the world. What a mess!

Kelly: HOPE you're home!

Sharon, and Sunny: Have a good Saturday!

Wow! Cath, nose hose -- POOF. That's excellent. BETTER --- the plumbing is operative! WAHOO! Rooting for the frangelica and Godiva! hugs AND KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

Ha Ha Barbara, "you knock on the door, noooooo, you knock on the door". Good for you!

It's RED Friday, wearing it in spirit.

Cath - gone, nose hose - gone. PIC line issue resolved this morn and the plumbing is working. Which way to the front door? Soon I hope. Oh and hurry up and finish the nutrition bag, bring on the ice cream! Maybe some Frangellica or godiva with that.

Have a great start to your week end.

Friday – Nicer day today. Got my outside walk in so a happy camper.

Mom’s carer comes, so ready for her. Mom isn’t! BUT she’ll be up for it when she arrives.

Got the rest of my labs back, so putting that together w/the labs that are out of line, I feel they're an anomaly. Still have to have a re-check in July, but far less concerned now. The pieces of the puzzle don't point in such a worrisome direction.

Kelly: How are you doing?

Sharon and Sunny: Behaving?

Have a good weekend ladies. HUGS and prayers for our soldiers, families and our country.

How are you doing???? Did they extricate that nose hose? HOPE SO

Quick drive by... bye, bye nose hose!

Barbara you are physically under a ton of stress let's hope it is that.

Son and family are due in hope the flight isn't too late or won't get to see them. You know how wedding parties go. I'm sure too she wants to see her family since Grandma died. CUL8R

Thursday – Lots of rain, but no damage. Grateful

Waiting for my labs from Monday. Should get those today. On the good side, A1C = 4.7. That's the very best it's ever been. HDL = 104 (best it's ever been!) The ones that are out of line, however, really worry me. Have to have a re-draw in one month. Could be a process going on w/the bone marrow, BUT the other pieces of the puzzle don't fit. So, hanging tight for now.

Thiry: Certainly her actions would put a DING in the friendship column and trust column, too.

Kelly: Hope you're feeling better!

Sunny: Hope you're feeling better, too!

Sharon: Prayers being said for your Ds’s safe travels.

Thiry, I would not file these reports. If she demanded you do these things, then she should own them. All if this is So wrong in So many ways. Clearly, the bottom line was the driving factor. If you do these things she's asking, you could wind up in hot water too! You would also be guilty of fraud, and could be charged as an accomplice.

Let her do what she's going to do, and do what you know is RIGHT in your heart. God will follow. What I meant is that only He knows EXACTLY what she needs to learn in this lifetime from this particular experience her soul has chosen, and THAT is what is for her highest good. I would also make it clear to her that she is the one who destroyed the friendship by violating your trust, and demanded you do things you did not want to do, and you felt your job was in jeopardy. Trust is the foundation of any loving relationship, and when that is violated all just crumbles to the ground. Your trust in her is now gone, and therefore, so is the friendship. Explain to her that she will have that on her conscience, and she has only HERSELF to blame for that.

Barb, hope today is a good one for you and your folks.

Kelly, hope you get out of dodge before the weekend so you can be home, and comfortable.

Sunny, hope you and your health are improving.

Say prayers for safe trip back home for our DS. Storms all along his route.

Catch ya later!

BARB – Thanks for the agreement on my “friend”. I also agree with you that “friends” don’t do such things. I don’t foresee us ever regaining the friendship as I don’t think I can trust her to not do the same thing again in the future. I don’t really want to do it but she is pushing me to file a HIPPA violation report, a report for having me go in and work with immune compromised clients when sick and having a doctor’s note saying I wasn’t to go to work that day and a report to the IRS for claiming things as deductions on her taxes that aren’t legal deductions. So if she wants to continue with her accusations that I was doing something wrong when I was doing what I was trained to do she could end up paying a bigger price in the end. Glad your checkup went well. I am glad that your mom is doing well. Sorry to hear that your dad has to wait 2 weeks for the bridge.

KELLY – Glad to hear that you are doing well. Keep resting and recovering.

SHARON – thank you for your support on my “friend” You are right God only know how this will end and I’m hoping that it is a good resolution but as I said above I don’t foresee us resuming the friendship as I don’t think I will ever be able to trust her again.

Nothing new here. I did have another 2 hour workout at the gym again today. Starting to actually see some changes happening both in weight and measurements.

Have a great week everyone.
Thiry

Much as I don't like the hose it is there only if things change, I do not want to have it shoved back in. PIC gives me nutrition. Yum, let's see what should we add to this bag? I can't stand that hose making me cross eyed so will let youse guys add some ingredients😊

Wednesday – Dad will have to wait 2 more weeks for the bridge, but the upper plate was tweaked, so much more comfortable.

Mom had a good day. Wonderful!

Expecting bad storms, so want to get things done outside before the storms hit later.

Kelly: hope you’re rid of that ol’ nose tube and the PIC line.

Sharon: HUGS and you’re right. God knows the situations and will guide in making the right choices.

Started to give an update, realized it smithing hour, then dinner figured I'd wait.

Surgery didn't happen til 7p, out in :45 so it's good news. No adhesions causing it. It was an invisible hernia. ??? As explained to me with a straight face, one part of the small ingestion latched onto another section creating a hole. Another section decided to fill that hole creating an invisible hernia. Took advantage of the magic pump over night, nap this morning and sat in a recliner for way too long so feeling squished but not uncomfortable once stretched out for awhile.

Still on the nose pump but off it all after noon with no ill effects. They are doing bagged nutrition through a PIC line, I'm calling it my Kailua shakes for the next 2 days. So looks like all your prayers were a winner!!! Thank you so much.

It's difficult to looked with that thing so will say good night and LUV you all, hugs.

Oh hope your Dad's visit went well.

Tuesday – had my check up yesterday. Just have to wait for the lab results, but all looked good.

Dad has his dental check up today. Hope they can place the lower bridge but may be another week. We shall see.

Very warm and Mom is in hog heaven with that. Actually sat outside this morning for a bit.

I got my walk in early as I knew it would be hot.

Here’s to Tuesday.

Thiry: Well, sounds like you have things in hand re: your “friend” (sorry, put it in quotes, because friends don’t do such things, IMHO!)

Kelly: Know you ‘re in my thoughts and prayers! HUGS HUGS HUGS

Sharon and Sunny: Hope all is well in your part of the worlds.

BARB – Glad that you had a good weekend with your parents and agree that we need to take care of our bodies. Thanks for the good wishes on the apartment.

KELLY – Good luck to you and praying that your surgery has been successful. Speedy recovery to you.

SHARON – Glad you had a good weekend. Keep taking care of yourself and hope that your neck gets better. Thank you we are hoping that we get the apartment and hope that it will be a fresh start here in Omaha away from the frustrations we have been having with this apartment and living so close to my friend and the crap that she is still trying to do.

After the call Wednesday asking how the mailbox was working I called the office on Saturday asking if we were going to be getting our mailbox key any time soon. I was told that there wasn’t anyone that could do anything as she didn’t have anyone working that day but she would have the manager call me about it. I told her that I have been told that the manager would be calling me other times when I reported the cigarette butts on the balcony only to not receive a call. I also told her that if I didn’t get a call on Monday my first stop after work would be at the post office to rent a mailbox so we could receive our mail and would be turning the bill over to them for the cost of the mailbox rent. I guess they didn’t want to pay for a mailbox as the manager called me and they brought a new key to our apartment leaving it on the counter.

I also received a text from my “friend” and former boss saying that the audit of her company was completed and that it wasn’t good. She wants to get together and talk this week before she takes the “next step”. I sent her a text after work saying I had talked to my attorney (even though I haven’t talked to anyone) and that I would meet her at a neutral place later this week. I also said that according to the attorney I wasn’t obligated to change my schedule to have this meeting so I would check my schedule and let her know when I was available and that she needed to bring a copy of the audit as my attorney wants to look it over. As of yet I haven’t received a response from her. It has been 2 months since she said she was getting the audit which is a long time as the audits that we go through every year at my primary job only takes a week at the office looking at things and the report is to my CFO a week after that. Myself I don’t think there is an audit as that would have cost her quite a bit of money. With all these accusations she still says she wants to continue our “friendship of 38 years”. Now with all the accusations she and her kids have sent my way I don’t know that I can ever continue this “friendship” in the same way as before as I will never forget the way I have been treated by them. Another reason to move as with where we live now she drives by almost daily and watches to see if I am home or not and I don’t want her watching what I am doing.

Have a great week everyone.
Thiry

Monday – quick morning. The carer will be here shortly and I go for my check up and labs. Hate it but hey, we have to take care of our bodies! Only have one go-round. Gotta do it the best we can!

Had a nice Father’s Day. Took Mom and Dad to the lakefront . . . Mom enjoys taking car rides. So she was a happy camper. Dad was happy that she was happy!

HUGS and more later.

Thiry: Hope you and DH get the apartment.

Sharon: glad that your neck is feeling better! Awesome.

Yes, Mom has some of her spunk-i-tude back. So glad of that!

Kelly: HOPE this finds you feeling better and HOME.

Sunny: Hope that the respiratory therapy is going well.

Hugs and prayers for our soldiers, families and our country.

See y'all @ 3 pm for Frozen Hot Chocolate. Mom approved . . .. again.

Mornin'! Hope you all are doing well. Had a real nice Father's Day dinner yesterday, and DH really enjoyed it.

Not much on the agenda today, and that is good.

Kelly, good to see you back, and assume you are back where you belong.

Thiry, glad you found a nice apt. Sounds like you had a nice time and weekend.

Barb, glad to hear mom is showing her o;' spunk-i-tude again!

Will join you all for Frozen HC at 3! Neck feeling better. A little sore now, but yesterday was a good day.

Enjoy your day!

BARB – Glad to hear that your dad is doing well after the dental appointments. Also glad to hear that you and Jas got some time to yourselves. Good to hear that Mom is getting some of her spunk-i-tude back.

KELLY – Good to see you back. Hope you are feeling a little better every day.

SHARON – I also agree about eating flavorful food and that is why when we go out most of the time we go to Outback as the food is so tasty.

We had a good time at the winery and the BBQ was excellent. They had pulled pork sandwiches, BBQ chicken hind quarters, beef brisket, & BBQ ribs as well as baked beans, cornbread muffins, watermelon, pickle spears and brownies. Needless to say we both ate too much and I ended up changing into a pair or sweatpants that I had in my gym bag in the car to be comfortable on the way home. It rained most of the trip home and there were times when it was raining so hard I don’t know how DH was able to keep the car on the road as I couldn’t see the lines on the road. It was a late night as we didn’t make it home until 2 am but both slept in as I didn’t have to work and DH didn’t have to be at work until 10 am. I went to the gym (2.5 hours) after he went to work so I could work off all the food from Friday’s trip.

Today we had planned on going to one of the semi local wineries for “wood fired prime rib” but didn’t get our reservations called in early enough so changed our plans for Father’s day meal. While waiting to go out for Father’s day I spent the day working on possible furniture placements for one of the apartments that we looked at on Friday. While I was doing that DH slept as he said he was tired. After getting home from supper we discussed the layouts, the fact that the building is secure, and the complex has been “certified crime free” by the local police department. We decided we are going to apply for the one apartment that is available 8/5/16 and the rent is the same as what we are currently paying but the apartment is a bit bigger. With this apartment we won’t have a gas bill as the apartment is all electric so that will be nice and my commute to work will be almost cut in half. The only thing is if DH stays at the store he is currently at his trip will triple but there another store that is about the same distance from the apartment as the one he is currently working at and there is another one that is only about a mile away from this apartment. Another good thing is that the apartments are smoke free and our only neighbor would be across the hall. The water heater and furnace are accessible from the hallway so the maintenance wouldn’t need to enter our apartment to change the filter or light the pilot lite. This apartment only has a nonrefundable pet deposit where the others that we looked at wanted a nonrefundable deposit as well as a monthly pet fee per pet.
Have a great week everyone.
Thiry

Sunday – Nice day. Did not have to cook, got some outdoor work done, and got a little time to relax.

Hot today, so got my walk in early. Glad I did.

Dad is feeling pretty good today! So glad. He’s having some discomfort but not unexpected to be sure w/7 teetn out.

It was warm out so had to get my walk in early. Cleaned up from trimming the bushes and had to go grocery shopping. Don’t like shopping on Saturday, but no choice, so just did it!

HUGS and hope you had a good Saturday!

Sharon: Yes, I feel like I’ve picked up the slack @ 3 pm, too! And yes, I think it’s time for the frozen hot chocolate again, too.

I can’t believe but the oral surgeon took out all 7 of his teeth. So he ended up w/a full plate on top and next week he’ll have the bottom re-done bridge placed (he had to have 4 on top and 3 on the bottom pulled). I am amazed . . . he’s doing very well.

Glad you got your newsletter out in spurts.

And hope that your shoulder and back feel better quick.

Hey all! Kelly, I hope that today finds you feeling better. Will this self correct now that they know about it? Sorry, I know nothing, but trust all you nurses with your knowledge.

Kelly, I can assure you I've been doing my part in picking up your share of the slack with 3 pm happy hours. Me thinks it's about time for frozen hot chocolate and drinks now that summer is here.

Barb, glad to hear tha your Dad did pretty well. How many were done? Now he just waits for the bridge? Good to know you and Jas got some time together. Hope it was relaxing for you both. How's his eyesight now?

Sunny, I agree with your food comment. I'd rather eat FLAVORFUL food more in moderation than eat the loft, tasteless healthy stuff! Definitely fried chicken is way tastier than a boneless, skin else chicken breast.

My birthday wishes to Brian as well.

Hugs and prayers for our country. It's such a mess right now.

Sitting in recliner on heating pad; got the newsletter out in spurts yesterday. Glad to have that over and done for a couple of months!

Enjoy your weekend ladies!

Saturday – Well made it thru yesterday. The brother got here shortly before we were to leave for Dad’s appointments. He did well with the extractions and I was pleased. He did have discomfort, but that certainly was nothing out of the ordinary.

Mom behaved pretty well for my brother but was very, very confused by the time we got home from the appointments. “How do you handle the confusion” brother asks. Seriously?? Generally with a comment like “that’s an interesting thought” or something like that.

Oh well, Jas and I took a break and went off by ourselves. SOOOOOO NICE!!!

Quick check in as DH and I decided after looking at 6 different apartments that were going to drive to the one winery that is open only Wednesday-Friday 3-7 and get that knocked off our list. It is the only place we are stopping at today. We did the wine tasting and now waiting for the food as they are having all you can eat BBQ tonight. We decided we needed to eat something so why not the BBQ before getting back on the road to head home. It's going to be a late night as it is a 5.25 hour drive home. Going to have some wine with supper so some for you Kelly. More tomorrow.

Wow, Kelly. Are you going to have to have surgery? Sis had that happen and the doc told her she would be surprised at how common of an event it was. YIKES!!! Praying you are out of there before long.

I am doing fine - a little tired but sticking with the rehab. I didn't feel like going today but went and felt better afterwards. I still am not doing that well with my diet. I told them I knew what to eat, just liked eating no so healthy foods better. emoticon Fried chicken is better any day over grilled chicken. Maybe I should see that dietitian....

Hope all is well with everyone else. Tomorrow is our Brian's BD so they will be here for dinner. Then on Sunday, Joshua is taking all of us out for Mexican.

I hope you all have a good weekend and a very thankful Father's Day.

Hugs to all, Sunny

Good morning! On the computer while things are still good. Have to finish up my quarterly newsletter today, and get that out.

Kelly, thinking of you and hope that you are feeling better., and you'll soon be home. Who's watching your fur babies?

Thirty, hope you find a complex that cares about its tenants. How inconsiderate!

Barb, hope things go well for your mom, and dad today, and you get a break for a little R& R this weekend. Is brother taking a more proactive roll now? Condo still on the market?

Will see you at 3 for sure today. I'm ready for sumthin' and a little happy!

BARB - Glad you got the leak fix and happy it wasn't anything more extensive/expensive. Also glad you mom is doing so well and that the meds seem to be working for her.

KELLY - hope you are getting better.

Thank you ladies for the congrats. It felt so good to get past that plateau and start loosing weight again. Hopefully I can close to the goal I want to be at when we go on our trip in August.

I took tomorrow off as DH has an appointment with the nutritionist in the morning that I will go with him to. Then decided I didn't feel like rushing to work so have a 3 day weekend. DH and I are thinking about looking at some apartments that are available as we are so frustrated with the stuff going on here and the office not doing anything about it. Monday I called the office to let them know that I couldn't get my key out of mailbox and that I wanted something done as this wasn't the first time that I left the key in the box and called the office. Yesterday I received a call wanting to know how the mail box was doing to which I told them I didn't know as I don't have a key to check the mail. As of this evening we still don't have a mailbox key to even check out mail yet. Then add the fact that the people above us are still dropping their cigarette butts on our balcony and nothing has been done by the office. I have probably complained to the office 20 times since we moved in and they are still living above us even though I was told that after the 3rd complaint the process is to evict. If we can get these 3 different apartments looked at fast enough we may take off and get to the one winery that is only open Wednesday-Friday 3 pm-7 pm and get that marked off out list of wineries to visit for our Wine Passports.

Have a great weekend all
Thiry

Thursday – Well the roofer did come in the afternoon. Seems the chimney cap wasn’t attached properly. That is why there was seepage. Got it fixed and only coat $600! LORD. Love these little unintended expenses. BUT as long as there is no more leak, I’m a happy camper.

Otherwise Mom had a pretty good day. I think the meds are helping a little. Hopeful.

Kelly: Hope you’re feeling better! HUGS and prayers.

Sharon: OH NO. I mistyped. I had to get a ROOFER out to fix the roof. No, don’t have a roomer. That would be just toooo much right now for sure!

Thiry: glad you broke the plateau!

Hope you enjoy the concert!

Mud: Hope all is well.

BARB – Good to hear that things seem to be getting better with your mom and hoping that it continues. Sunday was a relax day for us also. We went to church, stopped at the store; fixed lunch then watched TV and took naps. Nice relaxing day for us.

KELLY – Yes things are well, just been busy and then falling asleep in the recliner when I sit down to do stuff on the computer. Hope things are going better for you and that you get out of the hospital soon.

SHARON – I am glad to hear that the wedding was wonderful. What an amazing story about the reception and sounds like everyone had fun. Good to hear that your neck and back are doing better, hopefully it continues to improve for you.

SUNNY – Good to hear that your rehab is going well. It will be great for you when the AC is working. Hopefully your allergy problems are getting better.

All is well with us. It’s just been a busy week. I have been really working on getting to the gym more. The last 3 weeks I have made it 4 days and with that finally broke the weight barrier that I was struggling with. I didn’t get there over the weekend or Monday but DH and I met with our trainer last night. After getting home I spent time taking the meat off the turkey bones and fixing Turkey Tetrazzini then cut up some watermelon to be able to take some to work for me to eat. This ended up keeping me up quite late last night and I ended up falling asleep on the couch. Over the weekend DH and I talked about the flowers we have and the fact that some of them need to be repotted in bigger pots. On Sunday when we stopped at the store to get some things for lunch I found what I wanted to use for transplanting some of our flowers that we have accumulated lately. I saw a set of 4 half wine barrels in different sizes. I really would have liked a couple of the 2 smaller ones and instead of the full set but that wasn’t a possibility so we got the set. I am still deciding which flowers are going to go into which barrel. I am finding that for the most part it works better for me to stop at the gym on my way home from work as once I get home it is harder for me to go back out to the gym with the exception of those nights when DH and I are meeting with the trainer.

Last night before heading to the gym with DH I was looking at my emails (checking on the time of our appointment) and found an email from my DS. A while back I found information on concerts in the Omaha area and one that interested me was Big & Rich being in the area in August. I made a mental note to talk to DH about possibly buying tickets for this concert. The tickets are really reasonable at $35.00. Well anyway the email from my DS was to let me know that Werner Enterprises (concert sponsors) is celebrating their 60th anniversary and giving 70% off Big & Rich concert tickets for friends and family of the employees. Needless to say I purchased a pair of tickets for this concert as they were only $10.00 a piece so the pair with the service charge only cost $23.00 and the venue is only 4.5 miles from our apartment. This concert is the weekend before we leave on our bus tour to Nashville so it will be and exciting week. We are also being given information on our schedule for the trip to Nashville which includes going to the Grand Ole Opry on Friday evening which will be really exciting.

Have a great week everyone.
