I have to say that teaching through March is more difficult for me. I am trying to make a plan so I don't feel like that this year.

Janey, you may be right... I think that's very true. What's important is that we can generally find support among our colleagues to climb back out.. conferences, simply a social occasion, or a card or note.

I've found February is when burnout hits. Going to a great conference or workshop is revitalizing.

Classically, new teachers get a bit down this time of year... lots of reasons. As an "old" teacher, I always try to notice and find ways to help our new teachers through it. Any suggestions of ways to encourage and help people stay on an even keel?
