Hello everyone!
Just checking in to see how everyone is doing?

I'm now 9 1/2 weeks post-op and have been cleared by my stress echo to exercise at higher intensities. I didn't score so well on my overall fitness so my physician would actually prefer I work out longer at lower intensities to build my fitness base.

I'll be returning to work in the ICU in 3 weeks. I'm a bit nervous, more about the psychological aspects than anything. I've been visiting off and on my whole time off though so that has helped.

It's going to be interesting transitioning back into my role of assistant nurse manager from patient in my own unit when I'll be seeing all my doctors every day. They've been incredible, I just don't want them to be too over protective (but they will be).

Hope everyone is enjoying this weekend.
