I'm just washing my hands and using hand sanitizer. I'm not too worried about it. I agree with Evelyn, my biggest fear would be not having enough books to read!

I work at a hospital, and we've received precautionary instructions mostly regarding identifying and isolating patients that are potentially infected. Other than that, I heard on the radio that sick people need to stay home, as opposed to non-infected people isolating themselves...

Since I work at a school, I'm washing my hands more and carrying a little pocket bottle of hand sanitizer.... I'm not worried about food if the epidemic strikes here, more concerned with would I have enough books to read should I not be working for a couple of weeks!!

If I can stop one heart from breaking,
I shall not live in vain:
If I can ease one life the aching,
Or cool one pain,
Or help one fainting robin
Unto his nest again,
I shall not live in vain.

Since they have raised the level for the swine flu today, are any of you going to take any special precaution? MY main fear is to get pneumonia with it. I went to Costco today and did a major shopping of food supplies, so if it does come to Washington State, I plan on staying home. No trips to town or visiting friends. Lets all keep our fingers crossed.
