I'm not sure about that, but I'll look into it.

I'm a little frustrated- my fitness minutes are telling me I've gone over my fitness for my calorie level, and that I should adjust my goals to reflect this so that it auto-adjusts my calories. So, I went into my fitness goals and put my average calories burned manually, and clicked 'save changes'. However, it didn't change my calories level goals. They are actually lower than when I'd done this previously before. Am I doing something wrong? It changed the max goal by 200 calories, but that's a lot to me! Any suggestions as to how to get my expected weekly calories burned into my calorie goals?

Go to Edit Sparkpage and scroll down to the area where the ticker info is. You can enter your start weight and goal weight there. To weigh in go to My Tools, Start, Weigh In.

How do you change your weight on the ticker?
I wanted to change my start weight to 126, but it won't let me enter a weight below 135 for that.
So I figured I would just update it as a weigh-in, but I'm not sure where to go to change that, either.

Measurements are tricky. It's so hard to get the same spot every time. I myself struggle because I never know if I'm in the right place. I looked this one up just as a reference. This is what I found:

1. Bust: Don't squish yourself -- measure all the way around your bust and back right at your nipple line, and make sure the tape measure is not lower.

2. Chest: Measure under your breasts but as high up as you can go, keeping the tape measure parallel to this line when you reach it around your back.

3. Waist: Measure wherever it is the smallest (if you have "no waist" go around yourself right at the navel line).

4. Hips: Measure at the very biggest part -- even if that is so low that you are almost on the top of your thighs.

5. Midway: Measure midway between the very biggest part of your hips and your waist.

6. Thighs: Measure wherever they are the biggest.

7. Knees: Measure right above the knee.

8. Calves: Measure wherever they are the biggest.

9. Upper arm: Measure wherever they are biggest above your elbows.

10. Forearms: Measure wherever they are biggest below your elbows.

Hope this helps

correct way to do measurements?

I just bought a tape measure. I know how to measure my chest. But, waist is it the at the waist or the biggest part of your tummy?
Hips. I think that's over the biggest part of your butt? but where should it meet at the front?

Help.

ERINLDOCKERTY: For your question about the tracker. Go to your sparkpage and hit edit sparkpage. Scroll down and you will see at the bottom where you can choose a tracker. You can choose to show pounds lost or current weight. Have a great day.

I may be wrong on this, but I think they type up those goals in the Personal Signature section when you are editing your spark page. That is the only way that I know of. If you look at my post where I have a quote at the bottom, is this where you are seeing these goals? If so, you can type them up in the signature area and that is where they will be when you post. Hope this helps.

I have a question. Was wondering how people get there weekly goal weights at the bottom of there messages? Where do you track that kind of goal? I want to do some short term goal weights.

For the backgrounds for the spark pages. If you hit Edit Sparkpage there is a tab up top that says upload a background image. You can choose a plain color or you can upload another image that you may have that will become your background. As far as the profile image, people usually find an image on the internet or one they already have to upload for their profile picture. You change that picture by scrolling down (after you hit edit sparkpage) to under where your friends are listed, and on the right hand side there will be a little place that says profile picture and you can upload a new image of your choice there.

The members that have little icons for their profile image instead of a pic of themselves... where do they get them? And the backgrounds for their personal pages, the designs, not tiled personal pix... Where do those come from?

Go to your spark page and hit edit spark page. In the blog section there will be a button that says add a new blog entry.

You go to the person's spark page that you want to give a goody, then scroll down on the page to where the goodies are. It will say at the bottom of the goody square...Give _______ a spark goody. Click on that and then choose which one you want, enter a message and send.

Glad you got it figured out. A sticky message just keeps the topic at the top of the forum so it doesn't get lost in all the other postings.
