12/16 Finally ran a mile in 12 minutes!

I saw another member who was on the "couch to 5k program" so i checked it out. It really is a great way to start running, I'm on my 7th week and running 25 minutes without stopping. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to run!

Thank you! You can do it...it is possible. Just have to do it graduly.
I haven't done any running this week. I have been exercising and boy am I sore. Hopefully, later on tonight my husband, our friend and I are gonna hit the indoor pool on base. I favor swimming like a frog, as I like to call it. I was told by a friend it's actually called the breast stroke. Either way, i feel it works your whole body & I love it. Thats what I was doing over this past summer. Swimming as often as I could. I lost 3 inches in both legs from doing it.

I'll have to check out that website. I've started running again myself. My goal is also to run 3 miles. Last year I reached my goal of running 2 miles. I was so excited, but for some crazy reason I stopped running. So I have to build back into it. I still have some pounds to lose and I know running will really help with that. So far I can run 1/2 a mile. But I'm not gonna give up this time. Esp now I have SP by my side. :) Together we can all reach our goals!

I wanted to share with my team. We all started her at the same time. There was a time I thought I was the laziest person in the world. With the help of SP I am now running a mile every other day. Next goal is 3 miles by January.
