IKR? I found myself cheering her on through all the fails and was so happy when she succeeds! If anyone should be allowed to throw down a weight on a superhuman effort......: D Makes me wanna be a bada$$ too! : D
She was the first woman to win the Olympia, the pioneer, really, of Women's bodybuiling and figure as we know it today. She never succumbed to steroids (even the professional figure gals are on the juice), never compromised her values, has a strong belief in faith and family and to this day takes the example she sets very seriously. She has hips and boobs and a little waist and is EXACTLY the kind of body I want to look like!
Rachel McLish, for me, is what a muscular woman should be. Natuarl, beautiful, feminine, self-propelled.
When I first looked into bodybuilding I had no idea about who was on the circuit and what classes there were. So, I did a lot of research and along the way found a couple of really inspirational characters.
Have you got someone that you look to as inspiration or motivation?
Mine are :
Diana Chaloux: Diana is a Personal Trainer and a Pro Figure Champion. In my eyes she has the most perfect body and I really aspire to be like her. Not only in a physical way, but also with the work that she does with people. Enabling and empowering them to achieve their goals.
Arnold Schwartzenegger: Mainly because he is so focussed on achieving his goals and is never afraid to aim high and go for it. It is for this reason that I find him inspirational that if he can do it, why cant I?
