In a pinch, I can make some whole-grain pancakes and put sugar-free syrup on them. I am beginning to be almost glad that all those sugar alcohols give me gas if I eat too much of them: that's one more thing to slow me down when I need it.

Now that I've been diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes, I plan to ration out the rest of the sugary foods in small doses with healthy meals, and not to buy any more unless I just can't stand it (no such urges so far), and then buy only a single, small serving at a time. Portion control is my weakness, and I'll have to be firm with myself about it.

A lot of people have to clean out the pantry of all junk type foods to lose. Others work treats and snacks into their calorie range. That's what I do and have lost weight slowly but it is going. Sometimes when we cut off all foods considered bad, one had a tendency to "eat around" their crave. I do begin craving when I am hurting so I don't deny myself the food, I eat it and count it. As said before many others can't do this. It just works for me. Good luck and hoping no more flares for you.

I gained since my last weigh in. Today is my the first day of my new week. Going to do the best I can. It is like the start of the new experiment...lol Going to be tough since WW doesnt' count veggies and fruit and FB and SP do.
Last week was a fibro flare and when I hurt like that I eat.....anyone one else like that? Suggestions on how to stop that would be great.
I always drink all my water, quit drinking Diet Pepsi last November so all I drink is water and the occasional cappuccino.
