I'm in and out! I flew out to Cali to visit dd last week. Today her and I fly to Charlotte as my eldest dgd is graduating hs this weekend. Next week it's back here for a week before going back home to Colorado.
I'm packing snacks for this trip, and of course my water bottle. The trip out here was horrible for a variety of reasons and I'm trying to head them off this time. I'm sure it will be much better.
The fibro monster has retreated for a few days. I did have to resort to meds the other night. I hate seeing the grand kids faces when I wince. They don't seem to mind I have to "nap" so much. Maybe that's what grandparents are supposed to do.

10 And have put on the new [man], which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
11 Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond [nor] free: but Christ [is] all, and in all.
12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;

I'm pulling myself out of a funk after over doing for the family "again". Have not been eating as well as I should so concentrating on that to get my energy back up. The heat is killer here in Florida now so I'm not going outside as much. Being outdoors always boosts my energy and mood and I need that so much.
Hope everyone is able to make themselves a priority this week.
We have been on the go since returning from TX. a week ago. Today has been a down day as I have had too much pain to function. It has a tendency to catch up with me and I go down for a couple days. At least the activities for this week are few and the very busy past week is now in the past!! I am just barely keeping up with everything here on SP and haven't taken time to post often here. You know these retirement days are lazy with nothing to do but sit around, right? It's like this..... ....and so it goes!!
Hope you all have a good week. Get your rest the best you can.
Slow & steady makes a winner of us. Even if we hit pitfalls, get up. Know that a new day is right around the corner. Try to be all that you can be. Work at it a day at a time.
