This is probably my biggest obstacle to my weight loss goal. During the day i can control munchies by staying busy, but nites are really tough. I've switched to lower cal snacks, diet soda, and fruits like bananas, and apples. If i need a more substantial snack i have peanut butter with an apple. Of course I give in on occasion and eat cookies or chocolate or some horrible fat filled snack. Its tough but I'm tracking everthing and that will often keep me from going out of control. Good luck to everyone out there....we can still make our goals even if we give in occasionally.

Sometimes I just have a glass of water, as they say that we could be thirsty when we think we are hungry. Othertimes, I have a few almonds just to take the edge off.

I find that eating fudsicles, 100 calorie snacks, or frozen fruit bars help. :)
Also a low-calorie high protien shake helps too. :)

I learned a long time ago that when I am really REALLY craving sweets, I can have a dill pickle instead. The taste buds in our mouths for sweet and sour are so close together eating something sour helps manage the craving ......... or....... I can just cave in :0)
