Hello! Well, I will be turning 31 in less than one month. Every milestone I said, "This is the year I will look (and feel) my best!" Well, it's been a challenge. I've always been of an "average" weight... and never had any massive gains or losses... but I know my best body is in here somewhere! My current goal is to drop approximately 10% body weight in 6 months. Is this doable?
Hi everyone. I turned 30 in March and I thought life was over. Now I realize, life is just beginning!!! I've been a SP member since 2010, and I've lost 45 lbs in the first year. The last 6-10 months I have done zip for exercise and eating right, and fell right off the horse, but lucky for me, i maintained the 45 lb loss and didn't gain any back. I want to lose another 50lbs (at least!). I started a new job last week that is very physically demanding and has basically forced my hand to make me get back on the horse and get rid of this weight once and for all. Looking forward to reading your stories and hopefully encouraging some people too with mine. thanks!!! and happy sparking!
Hello everyone! I turned 30 a few months ago, around the same time that I started a new job. It was an exhilarating time, but also a stressful one. Now that things have become a little calmer, I'm back on SparkPeople, trying to get rid of the weight I gained from stress-eating. Glad to see so many other people on here!

Hi, I just turrned 30 on the 23rd, so I decided it was time to join a 30 something group and get out of the 20 something group. I am looking to lose at least another 15 pounds. I know my limitations and am good about staying within them. I also love to read and sometimes I get so into a book that I push my workouts off. I am learning not to do that.

I turned 30 a few days ago. I was on a pretty good weight loss track then found out we are expecting our first child due November 18th. Since then I've been having a really rough 1st trimester and haven't worked out in 7 weeks or been able to eat right. I've lost 3 pounds since being pregnant, which certainly wasn't the goal. Though I'm not showing yet I can definitely tell I've lost muscle mass and I just feel gross! My 30th birthday dinner consistent of mashed potatoes because I thought I had a chance of keeping that down, hopefully I'll be able to celebrate with 'real food' in a few weeks!
I tried to find a thread where you introduce yourself to the group, but I did not find it. I am sorry to create a new thread, but I wanted to say hello to everyone. I turned 30 in December. It was not a pretty sight. lol I wanted to lose the weight before I reached 30, but I did not. I set out to lose 80 lbs. I lost 45, then I stopped and gained 25 back. BOOO :( Now I am at it again. I have lost 7 lbs so far this time. I really want to get it off for good. I feel old, fat, and ugly and I am really tired of feeling that way.
