emoticon to your wonderful son

the rocky road before you now will lead you to a rainbow.

happy are those who dream dreams and are ready to pay the price to make them come true.

almost anything in life is easier to get into than out of.

a diamond is a piece of coal that stuck to the job.

sow an act and you reap a habit. sow a habit and you reap a character. sow a character and you reap a destiny.

My son is 13 and I think he's been a teenager since he was about 8. (: We have our days but he's a good kid. I hope things continue to go at least as well as they have been but I'd better be ready, too, especially if he's anything like my "baby" brother. Of course, he started at nine.

My oldest son is 14 and still hasn't "broken loose." Maybe after he turns 15 and starts high school in the fall? I hope not, but I'd better be ready!!!!

To Xavier, my youngest son, and everyone else celebrating a birthday today!

Today he made double digits. He is 10! My aunt seems to think that this is the age when all hell breaks loose. I think it is 12. What do you think?
