So true! I find that food is sometimes situational. You want to eat in certain situations, in certain places, and with certain people. If that can be overcome, then half the battle is won. emoticon

I have been very fortunate that I never had to try to quit smoking because I've never started. I have tried to lose weight so many times and so many things require my attention that it gets in my way of losing weight and I end up back where I started. As you probably can see, I have been a member for a while now but have not gone very far. I really stinks that we are required to eat to survive. Smokers don't require a cigarette to survive, even though mentally they probably believe so (and like I said I've never started so I don't know personally) What I do know is that I feel just as bad about myself when allow myself to get off track and go back to the bad habits. So like I tell my smoker patients that it is hard and you just have to keep trying. So here I am trying again. I know one of these days the good habits are going to stick. I have to retrain my brain that I'm not bad when I screw up and I just have to keep trying and learn to pat myself on the back when I do well.
