I love my wii Fit. I used it for one hour yesterday doing everything from boxing to yoga and I'm surprised my shoulders are sore today,LOL

My favorite on the Wii fit for aerobics is the rythmic boxing. The beginner isn't much but once you do it a couple of times you unlock advanced and expert and those are great. Expert makes 13 minutes FLY by and the next day you really feel it in your arms.

As a family we love the wii fit. I love it because all seven of us can play. We also have the wii outdoor adventure and find that to be a great workout. This is a great activity everyone can do.

Due to major abdominal Surgery, last August, I had gotten very out of shape. I started Wii Fit on 1/1/09, when Advanced Step got my heart rate pumping. It is now, not much of a challenge. I use it to cool down. The Hula Hoop for 6 minutes is a good workout. Since starting it, I can see my ribs!! I am also amazed at how toned you can get from Yoga. I average 45 miutes a day/5 days a week. No weight loss, though.

I haven't done outdoor challenge because of my foot problems but it looks like alot of fun and my kids love it. I can't wait to get my feet working well enough to be able to do the groundhog thing.

I agree with you about the wii fit being a fun and sometimes very challenging activity. We also have found the same to be true with the Wii Outdoor Challenge. For those of you, who are easing through with the wii fit..try the outdoor challenge...it really is a challenge..My 17 year old even finds it hard

I generally log it into Spark as Wii Fit low intensity unless I do the boxing. That gets my heart rate up pretty good so I log that as high. I wear my HR monitor when I'm doing it so I can gauge what I'm putting out effort wise.

Does anyone know how much calories you burn on average when playing Wii sport?

Yes, it is great for grandparents. We liked ours so much that my mom has gone out and bought one. Even the nursinghome where my grandma is has one. It's hilarious to see 90yos playing Wii Play and racing cows but it's great for their coordination, for sure.

We love our Wii Fit too. I usually have to use it when the kids are in school. Our youngest will regularly ask if I used it while they were gone and if I broke any records. It is a fun family activity even if you don't do it together.
We do enjoy some of the Wii Sports games as a family and their grandparents look forward to playing it too! Now THAT IS COOL!!

We love our Wii Fit and Wii Sport. We have huge rivalries going on in this house. LOL The kids are surprised at how many things "old" mom can kick their butts on.

sounds like a lot of fun. And a good way to spend time with the kids.

My son and I have been having video game competitions all day. We challenged each other on guitar hero....he won. THen we played NCAA and I kicked his butt. We just finished Wii Fit and he kept doing the downhill ski jump until he knocked me off the board. I killed him on some of the strength exercises...only because he lifts and is tired. Wii fit is a lot of fun and you do burn a lot of calories. It was a fun chilly Saturday with the boys.emoticon emoticon
