I've been resisting cinnamon muffins I made for DH & the kids yesterday. Not over the weekend, but since I'm a SAHM and DH works 7 nights a week, the only thing that makes a weekend a 'weekend' for us is I don't homeschool the kids on weekends.
Unfortunately, I did not resist any temptations this weekend. :( I usually have a cheat meal on the weekends anyway, but I went overboard this time! Protein brownies galore, ate some candy and some cookies with my son. *blushing* Today I am back on track though. I am going to be very strict on my diet this week, because my boyfriend said if I do, he will have a surprise for me this weekend and a new pair of jeans! Woohoo!
Birthday cake and ice cream for a teenager that goes to our church. It was served after church in the fellowship hall. I sat my kids down to eat theirs and politely walked outside and waited on them to finish.

We could learn a lot from crayons; some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some are bright, some have weird names, but they all live together quite nicely in the same box!
I didn't give in to any food temptations so the biggest temptation I resisted was to stop walking and go to bed - instead I forced myself to do another couple thousand steps before I went to bed last night so I would be over 10,000 which is a streak goal.

Well, I gave in to some (but only had HALF a cannoli - that's better than the whole thing, right?) But since the weather was hot and sunny here, I could definitely have had more chardonnay than I did. Just the 4 ounces sunday night - AND, I've noticed the trick of entering my dinner into my nutrition log before I';ve eater to see if I have enough room left for the wine. I'm learning!

Saturday - Wedding cake...all of the food at the reception, pretty much...free beer...picnic lunch items that weren't so good on Sunday...I did pretty good with temptation this weekend. I just wish that the scale showed more of a change!! lol
