I struggled with this question a bit. My ex and I have shared custody of the little ones and they went to their Dad's on Friday. Besides the goodbye hugs and kisses, I couldn’t remember the last thing I did with them, and that bothered me. Then it occurred to me, we talked on the phone last night. Phew, I was pleased to realize that Friday wasn't the last time I did something with them. I am really looking forward to them coming back this Friday. Thank you for the question.
Last night I helped the two older girls (8 and 10) study their Awana verses and I quizzed them. The 8 year old is ready to say 3 sections to her leader and the 10 year old is ready for 5 sections (YAY!!!!!) Then my son (3, March 27) learned the verse John 3:16 and read his children's bible. We worked on the verse about maybe three times and he can now say it mostly by himself with help twice. (Another YAY!!)
Gave my daughter a kiss as she got on the bus this morning!!
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, margarita in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally wornout and screaming, "WOO HOO!! What a Ride!!!
Freedom is the difference between living and just existing!!

We read a book together last night and had breakfast together this morning:)
It took a lot of blood, sweat and tears to get to where we are today, but we have just begun. Today we begin in earnest the work of making sure that the world we leave our children is just a little bit better than the one we inhabit today. Barack Obama

I had my 8 year old teach me how to jump rope. Okay I remember how to jump rope from when I was a kid (though I am not as coordinated.) But, Leatha thinks she taught me first. It was great fun. Then we both went for a three lap run around the block with the Dog! We had a ball! I love getting the children to exercise with me!
