Had a sitter (my son's birth grandmother) so my husband and I went to see "New in Town" with Rene Zellwegger and Harry Connick, Jr. It was cute and sweet. Then we went to The Cheescake Factory for an early dinner. I consumed too many calories that day, but I did manage to push my plate away at the restaurant after eating half of it and took the other half home (which my husband ate the next day!)

We had to be out of the house basically all day for 4 showings so we went on a 2 hour family walk/hike to a local historical site (with the dog, too). Halfway through the kids got the v-day cookies we made.
Little things add up to big differences. It only takes a step to get going in the right direction.

We were taken out to eat last night by hubby's aunt for b-day/v-day/anni dinner. It was yummy! Today he has to work, so not much. We will be making cookies, I will only eat 1, and taking some to the next door neighbor. Hubby's birthday is tomorrow and our anniversary is 17th. We are getting a room and going to hockey game. I don't mind not doing much today.
We have a workday at the church until 2:00pm and then the fun begins. As a family, we are making homemade pizza and watching a movie. Then my husband and I are going out for small date. I had roses sitting on the table this morning - I love the simple things.

No plans here. Daily housework, keeping 3 extra boys for a friend whose baby girl is in the hospital(since Thursday), my routine is way off and I have found it impossible to successfully feed 6 kids healthy and them all it. Hope everyone else has a great day!

No plans here AT ALL! Hubby is in Kuwait and Amber (and I) are grounded this weekend. 3 days off and we're grounded! All last week she absolutely refused to do her homework-she did 1 spelling worksheet and THAT WAS IT! So--we're grounded!
I'm going to finish writing the final paper for the Senior Capstone class and organize my recipes. As for tonite....sleep.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, margarita in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally wornout and screaming, "WOO HOO!! What a Ride!!!
