Holy shin splints! I won't be shredding or running today! Yikes.

Admittedly, I did the shred without shoes on. I'll give it one more try after I heal a bit before I put it aside.

didn't get it done today. Took dad to the drs and was gone all day, now I am doing my homework that is due tomorrow. I will do it tomorrow though.

I'll be a couple days behind you! Started today. Lord are my shoulders weak! That was the hardest part for me.

Still haven't decided if I'm going to use this as cross training on my non-running days or go the thirty days as prescribed. I'm kinda curious about what the results will look like if I go whole hog!

ok sounds like a plan. I did it this morning and it was more difficult than before. I think I have to eat something before I do it. Doing it after 12 hours with no food was hard.

Thanks!!! I plan on going through each level in 10 days, if it doesn't work then I won't stress about it. I will go at least 10 days and if I've mastered it then I will move to the next.

It is tough getting on a routine but I have to do it!!!

I am starting this again today. The last time school and my internship got in the way. How do you do yours? 10 days at each level, stay with a level for 30 days or stay with a level until you have mastered it?

Thanks Ladies!!! I DID IT! It wasn't nearly as bad or horrible as I thought. Was it tiring, yes however the thought of 20 minutes kept flashing in my mind.......I can do anything for 20 minutes. Let's see how I feel tomorrow!!!

Hi, this is my 2nd try at 30DS. My advice...take a walk before, and try to keep moving around for at least 30 minutes after. It seems to help keep the muscles from being too sore. I started thursday, and I'm hoping to get through all 30 days this time. Unless you end up doing the forms wrong, you shouldn't need medical assistance, it's just a work out dvd. Pay attention to what they do. Jillian gives really good tips on what NOT to do. :)

There are a few here who started the 30 DS beginning of September; I'm sure you could just jump in and join them! (I myself started doing it too but got 'exercise ADD' with doing only 1 level so now I'm doing a mix of Jillian's workouts; mainly focusing on her suggested ones for the '30 Day Slim down' plan, which includes her 'No more trouble zones' & 'Banish fat, boost metabolism', but I still stray away from it some days and do my own thing with other DVDs LOL)

I think the 30 DS is awesome for getting back into shape, just take it easy and don't get discouraged if you can't keep up right away with Jillian and the girls on the screen! You'll get there! emoticon

PS: Off topic: Where in PA are you? We're about to retire (Hubby is in the Navy) and settle down in PA, near Harrisburg area. -We still got a few months left overseas here though! *sigh*

hi - I am finally going to start the 30 day shred! I have been debating this for about a month and not sure that I'm ready but I am going to do it!

Any advice?
Anyone interested in doing this with me?
Am I going to need medical assistance - lol???
