Oh my! I did Day1 just now and oh.my.goodness!!! I am in worse shape than I thought.
So, she says to only take a 5 second break and I tried that during the whole 1st circuit, but found that I could only do the exercises for half the time because I was out of breath. So, instead of doing jumping jacks for 30 seconds, I could only manage 15 seconds and then caught my breath while they finished.
So, for the 2nd and 3rd circuits, I paused the video in between each exercise and rested for 1-2 full minutes to catch my breath and then pressed play and did the next exercise. Doing that allowed me to do each exercise for the whole time allotted (except the bicycle crunches- man!). I know that goes against the whole point of the video, but I figured it was more important for me to be able to exercise the whole time as opposed to half.
I think I'll use a timer from now on and only give myself 1 minute in between and see if each day or every 2 days, I can lower that time down.
Oh- and...can't even do the modified push ups! So, I lower my body to the ground so my stomach and large chest are resting on the ground and then push back up with my arms. It's the going down part I can't do. Hope that improves :)
