I've had Extreme Shed & Shred for a couple of months now, have done it all the way through once but haven't used it again.
For some reason, I couldn't love it like I do all other JM workouts - it just seems so wildly different to anything she's done before. Maybe I've been a bit hasty in casting it aside after just one go through.
I've already done my workout today (Banish Fat Boost Metabolism - AWESOME workout!!), and had planned to do strength work tomorrow.
However, having read this topic I'm sorely tempted to dig out Extreme again and have another pop at it tomorrow.
Shall see how energetic I'm feeling when I get up tomorrow morning!

Just finished day one. I only did the first work out today. I surprised myself at being able to do the side planks twists. I NEVER could have done those if I hadn't done the 30 day shred before. Feels great! Good luck everyone!

I just finished JM 30 shred today! It feels great! I just got the extreme shed and shred yesterday and am ready to jump in tomorrow with the rest of you with this new program. I sneaked a peek at it last night, looks hard but after completing level 3 I think I can do this! Best wishes to everyone!

Yeah! Thanks that sounds like a great idea. Will give it a go alternating betwween the two and see what happens. I'll be on holiday soon and then I would like to try and do the one in the morning and the other one at night. This way I'll blast away the Kg I most probably will be gaining with all the holiday foods.

Why not alternate the two? I started with 30 Day Shred back when I was over 200 lbs. and learned early on that I don't like sticking to the same workout day after day. I had success mixing it up with other Jillian workouts. Right now I am working my way through Ripped in 30, but rather than do level 1 back to back I am alternating Ripped in 30 with 6-Week 6 Pack and Killer Abs. I've only been at it for a week but I feel like my core is getting so much stronger, plus I have yet to get bored! Why don't you try doing 30 Day Shred, level 1, and then the next day doing level 1 of Extreme Shed and Shred, and then seeing how your body feels the next day?

I have Extreme Shed & Shred as well as 30 day Shred . . I am kinda wondering which one I should start with or if I could do both together.
I started with 30 day Shred for one week and stopped due to illness. Then lost my groove a bit and struggled to get into gear again.
So, I got Jilllians EXTREME SHED and SHRED and did it last night for the1st time! it was AWESOME.. I'm just a little sore today but am loving the feeling. Was a real tough challenge for someone who's been out of exercising for 2 months but so enjoyable.
Anyone who has done both please advise me as to which workout to do 1st.
I am really enjoying the workout! I have yet to make time for both back to back and have only done level 1 so far but I agree, it seems to be more "fun" than her other videos...Can't wait to see the continued results of being sculpted by Jillian! :)
I'm excited to hear that everyone is loving this DVD because I just bought it today! I'm finishing up week 4 of Ripped in 30 this week and bought it to start next week. Sounds like it will be fun and effective. Woo hoo! :)
Extreme Shed and Shred is fantastic, fun, and challenging! I've never done capoiera, so it was fun to try something new. I did Level 1 all the way through, then did half of Level 2 and had to quit, but in 60 minutes, I burned ~800 calories. There are lots of new moves that I've never seen before, and some familiar moves and overall, it really WAS fun and I'm only a little sore. Definitely give this one a try!
